IT IS VERY EASY TO FOLLOW PROVIDED LINKS -- SOMETIMES YOU GET THE PROPER ANSWERS -- MAYBE XAV CAN COVERT THEM TO GERMAN IN CASE SOME OF HIS FOLLOWERS NEED THE INFO KEN Hi Bob, The DVD has 4.7 gigabytes of space. The message you received sounds like you ran out of hard-disk room instead. Either your working hard disk space is extremely limited or perhaps something with space allotment. It's doubtful that you did anything "wrong'. Have you successfully burned DVD's in the past on this system? Best regards, Lin bob w, on Jun 11 2007, 10:43 PM, said: Tried to burn a dvd. EXE file is 83 mb. 24 minutes long. No PZR. In Video Builder it's 1.23 gb. After 1hour 35 minutes message said not enough room on disk. Did I do something wrong? Is 83 mb to large Video Builder? Bob Best regards, Lin PTE AV Tutorials http://www.learntomakeslideshows.net lin@learntomakeslideshows.net 0 I burned a short test this morning and it waw fine. Guess I'll start dumping stuff and see if that does it. Thanks, Bob #4 Igor Kokarev Administrator 24 minutes of slide show on DVD. 1 second = about 0.9 MB. 1440 seconds x 0.9 MB = 1.2 GB VideoBuilder also creates temp files and overall free space required about 2.4 GB in your case. when you download a new version, i believe it gives you the option to place a shortcut on the desktop -- rename that shortcut as to the version you just downloaded -a right mouse function -this is common windows protocol as to renaming - help about etc you best go to a bookstore and buy a book on windows/mac operation and study before you make a mistake and lose a show that took you many days to create ken

Davy i think the original dancing baby moosic was "jump" by the Pointer sisters -- when 4 yr old granddaughter seen it she was so scared she hid under our bed and we never showed it to he again till she was a few years older Igor must be proud of you experimenters showing what can be done with his "baby" great job ken

Eric - not too shabby considering you dont have a fluid head - i have 2 monster Manfrottos cw quick release fluid heads frm my vhs video days -- it takes a lot of practice - to make it easier for the camera guys they viewed the scene with 13" color tv's practice and hold your breath a lot to minimize any movement ken

Dave this the one they pushed into buying http://www.monstercable.com/ and similar got to remember salesman are on commission and they are trained in PT Barnum's philosophy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P._T._Barnum when i was into videoing skating competitions and carnivals pre '88 i might have had 2 cables fail and i was running 10 sets of tv/beta/vhs -- we had suitcases to carry the vcr's c/w cable's have seen guys wire their cars/vans and use #4 wire because of the size of the power supplies and speakers -- last week a fella bought a new Mercedes cube van and my car radio guy was wiring it for him - wire like you never seen ))) ken

Dave how do you determine "good hdmi cables"? approx 3-4 years ago the CBC -Canadian Broadcasting Company ran tests similar to the type run by the magazine Consumer Reports, on big box stores push selling on electronic gear -- ex you go in to buy a tv they push you to buy monster cables -- they bought the cables - took them back to their labs and ran a series of tests that proved the $50 cables were no better than $5 cables in performance quite likely the BBC have similar expose's ken
