imagine inserting video clips such as this into some of the shows we have seen with flowers, nature etc ken

Lin, Colin, Morasoft etc have posted examples of these new features -- they seem to be the only few willing to take a chance with the new features and as far as i am concerned did not get the accolades i felt they deserved. Igor has busted his butt to bring these features to fruition and how much response has he got I only wish I had the ability do this stuff, but i enjoy what is given, to see what is available and it blows my mind to see what PTE can do remember Ron Wilkinson 80+-- years old - when pan and zoom came about - within +- 2 days he had a ship going across the screen- crude but HE DID IT!! and Lin had a first draft of operating instructions and another fella BJC http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4465-photoshop-cs2-layer-comps/ had a tutorial with animals in it explaining how to - THIS WAS V5 days - i still have it on another machine -- those were the days of excitement ken

DAVE Some of us have thought that "The other side of that coin is the continued reluctance of died-in-the-wool AV enthusiasts to accept anything new." many times also the ones that say " i would/will Never" and then wont eat crow when they "see the light" life is all about change !!! ken

Dave long before video insertion came along Peter said time and again he had no interest in video -- he may have changed his thinking when he bought the new tele' tho' and seen what he was missing ken
-
but Dave Peter has said time and time again he has no interest in making video, has he changed his mind or are you 2 planning on going on the road trip to Australia to give that fella a hand -- Peter the sound man and you the video man and you are just getting all the chips in order ) ken

DAVE as one of the threads i gave you stated - there are too many variables and as the writer suggested start running tests yourself -- compare and what suits YOUR FANCY make future shows that way ken

DAVE USING PETER'S EXAMPLE FROM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_bitrate BEFORE Igor supplied us with a burner, Hawk and I used Nero for burning shows and he swore by double pass - it made a better finished product tho' a bigger file - he had access to a wide screen tv long before the rest of us and he could see the difference and i dont know what Al Robinson used but i have a couple of his dvd disks from our testing days and the quality is superb we might relate it to 100% saved jpg to a 50 % saved jpg more pixels in the 100% ken

Possibly part of the cause of why so many oldies never visit any more -- look at my initial thread of members sites in the following section http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/87-links-to-p2e-members-sites/ ken

Dave IMHO that is a fallacy -- the internet was developed by the US army before windows 3 for communication - i am a two finger typer -- quite often i forget - when i had my stroke 16 yrs ago this month i had to learn to type once more -- then somebody came up with the idea that if you use all capitals you are yelling at them -- they seem to forget that some people are slightly handicapped and you should be glad of their answers c/w capitals spelling mistakes etc quite often i get letters saying "what do they mean in that thread" because the non English speaking people do not understand our meanings -- if one takes the time to explain to them in basic terms they are happy and will in turn try to answer a thread btw one of the first books written re the internet was written by a Canadian and it was 2" thick -- there were 2 Canadians that worked together and latter each went their separate ways and finally if all people have to worry about is capitals and grammar they got too much time on their hands -- btw who corrected the hieroglyphics that are set in stone bye bye ken

Jean-Cyprien Morasoft, Daniel and Patrick have no trouble understanding my google translations - in upper and or lower case In this case i wanted to get the person's attention STOP SIGNS AND ROAD SIGNS ARE ALWAYS IN UPPERCASE -- to get people's attention Dave you have a considerable amt of uppercase http://davesnikonblog.blogspot.com/ WHY? ken
-
"PS: Going via the Google translator cannot be regarded as a serious procedure!" Xaver GOOGLE TRANSLATOR HAS WORKED QUITE WELL when i have been called upon to help French, Dutch, Belgium and Spanish people -- they got the drift with the translation -- in fact we had a French lad living with my daughter - exchange student - and when she got stuck she would use google translator all the time and he could understand and when my grandson went to France he used it also ken
