  1. Eric over in the colonies standard print printing practice is 4 x 6, 8 x 10 , 11 x 14 16 x 20 etc a standard paper printing is 8 1/2' x 11" , 11x 14 etc in the homeland you fellas have different sizes but in neither place is it a 4/3 format i could quote more data on this subject but am very tired of the subject i do know that i get edge to edge picts on my tv when i have my little canon set to W -- i am not worried because my days of making prints are over -am not concerned what i would lose - my camera shop people have advised me of the consequences pro and con -- i have taken picts and proved them correct you are right and the rest of the world is wrong different strokes for different folks even Barry seen the light ---- eventually -- ah ha that is why you are not willing to change bye bye ken

  9. Dave it would practically impossible - when things get going somebody is always referring to a previous version then there are those that only visit on a hit and miss basis and wonder what happened to such and such feature -- this program is changing on a monthly basis and people have to follow the forum daily to keep up with all our thoughts it would help if there were more entries to the "IDEAS SECTION" - not entered into an ongoing thread - IMHO that would help tremendously -- Igor would answer there and people would have an idea what is going on or planned features ken
  10. KEN when was pte not in beta Igor no sooner publishes the final and they start another beta ken

  21. well it sounds like the age old problem - you do not have enough computer to run off the cd -- it may have worked before but maybe the files are smaller - there are a lot of variables -- the person you want to give it may have enough power to run it from the disk i will look up more info for you ken
  22. IGOR first could not see it so put up on the tv -- wow trees in the top were like they had an earth thumper [used in geo thermal exploration] beside them i then came back to monitor and knew where to look ken
  23. Eric told you that way back http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13455-new-bridge-camera/page__view__findpost__p__87786 ken
  24. Well Dave the tv is more apt to be dead on for colour -- i have never adjusted the colour since it was set up - -you guys are dickin with your monitor all the time -look back in the threads - the monitor settings do not do the printing different strokes for different folks ken and it is the big picture where you see faults like shimmer --- when i first started out i always put picts up to the crt -256 lines resolution to see what i could get away with
  25. Dave for the test would the shimmer be more obvious if one shot it to the tv or a beemer? ken
