-
BERT cant you take your laptop that you are familiar with - you are relying on everything at the hall being AOK -- bad move ken
-
BERT COVER YOUR BUTT and go try it -- get familiar with room - light switches /electrical outlets - sound, screen, washroom, parking etc and then there will only be a minimum of surprises on the big night and make sure they have spare bulb for the projector year or so ago we had a fella got into a real mess re permits - that is the last thing you want ken
-
HAVE YOU TRIED the various screen adjustmennts on the tv how are you connected to tv -- hdmi , computer etc DaveGee is the man to answer this once you supply additional info ken

fyi only recently AVG has started flagging what it has done -- this one came up on my older system just now http://www.avg.com/ca-en/threat-report-app10?DR0=4228179&DR50=4228179&DR1=313&DR51=313&DR2=0&DR52=0&DR3=463&DR53=463&DR4=502&DR54=502&DR5=0&DR55=0&DR6=0&DR56=0&DR7=70294&DR57=70294&DR8=4&DR58=4 hope you can read it another point the event log on my older system is working but it only worked for a month - april- on the new win7 system - one of the solutions is to reinstall avg - i been thinking about it but have not tried - no g_____d's ken

Andrew welcome to the "older versions preferred" club ken

JIM http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13177-understanding-pan-z/ http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/13207-hows-that/page__pid__86314#entry86314 http://www.virustotal.com/ it seems that it depends on system my techie uses AVAST i have used AVG for years and am used to its idiosyncrasy's and deal with them as they come up -- write to Bill Hines and ask him what he uses as he has to check every file that is uploaded to the cottage -- he has to open - view etc before he will let it be on his site ken

MICK et al - DOWNLOADED THE ORIGINAL EXE JUNE 1 2011 - just downloaded it again and it caused no problem with avg - 10.0.0.1382 db 1513/3691 JUNE 9 2011 DOWNLOADED AVG DEFINITION UPDATE 10.0.0.1382 DB 1513/3692 JUNE 10 2011 NO PROBLEM WITH EITHER DOWNLOAD but if you remember i ran into an avg problem with my xp system with a couple test shows - but they ran ok on my win 7 system -- Igor also ran the files thu the independant anti virus site with no problem http://www.virustotal.com/ i went over both avg installs and could see no difference in the settings -- so my xp system seen problem Peter's vista system seen no problem my win 7 seen no problem IMHO i would not say that something got into mediafire - because we are not seeing a rash of problems - it is something on our systems that avg does not like on certain installs - Igor's code has upset norton mcafee avg etc over the years and it has been a struggle for him to get them to change ken

INSTEAD OF CONTINUALLY COMPLAINING READ THE THREAD -- Lin qualified his message with "For those who didn't see the 6/08/11 America's Got Talent - (I don't know if this is broadcast in other countries)" quite often people in the colonies cannot access Europe sites and maybe vice versa ken

guess who would be on the list - oh i forget he has changed his tune since moving out of the homeland k

project options - permit manual control since ver 3.4 I have always set manual control and show nav bar - when i doa show i work things back and forth till i am satisfied - you newbies just got familiar with the nav bar in the last couple years so i take it for granted how it works - in the last year this was brought up and i thought in order for it [nav bar] to work you have to have manual control selected i complain all the time for manual control of a show so one can study the show -- if i was entering a show i would disable these sort of things but this forum is not the "big competition show" and these features can be turned off and on so easily why not give the viewer the option when somebody's show has a problem it makes things a whole lot easier to help if manual control is enabled - i would like to see #'s on the slides so the viewer can add additional info to the owner -- after all shows are put up to be critiqued are they not? auto run shows get the esc key pretty quick if can not study things CONFLOW WROTE HOW TO DO A MANUAL SHOW IN 2004 - cant remember if he published it to all or not ken
-
Dave does one have to have it in manual to work? ken
-
Paul only other thing i can think of - is your antivirus running a scheduled scan in the background but you say it happpens on all your systems you might make a call to your isp - they might be doing something to the wnsoft site reason i used the sun site they are heavy in graphics as a check go to barry's forum - and see if there is a change http://www.beckhamforum.co.uk/forum/index.php ken
-
in the older versions there was a box to check to turn it on is the box checked not sure but think you have to have manual contrl turned on as well please tell us what your solution was ken

does the burner work with another burner program with different dvd disks ?? ken
-
David different to say the least - couldn't wait to see what next you had found! you and DavyC must have went to the same school did not find it objectionable at all ken
-
Davy I asked a camera/photo supply salesman what would hold one back in learning photography -- he replied " Lack of imagination and deep pockets" well you are sure not lacking in imagination and your wealth of sites for your shows seems to be limitless ! great job -- when 3d first entered the pte scene [bernard Sullet, Ian and others] i got the proper glasses. after my cataract operation i found my left eye showed the red lens as black when viewing a show - it did not affect the viewing - I queried my eye Dr.'s -- they had no answers - with experimentation i found the darker the room the better the viewing and if necessary i would cup my hands around the glasses to minimize any room light keep up the good work btw - no problem getting file from Mediafire - one learns to block annoying things ken

IGOR real smooth on the WIN 7 "cooler on board" video and sound sytem ken
