  1. I was able make a video. All was working just fine. But then I went back to the program and re-did the font of some text on the last two slides. Then the program would not show these last two slides. It got stuck on the 3rd slide from the end. The music continued but the images did not show up. I went back to the timeline and they were not there. So I click on "Timed Points" and "Add..." and these 2 slides were added to the timeline. I think this may be a bug in the program??? It is like I had to force it to add these slides. But then a new problem appeared. I came across another problem. After the slide show completely ends, I get the error messages "exception EInvalidPointer in module p2e_prev.exe..." and then "exception EAcess Violation in module p2e_prrev.exe..." This happens after playing it within the program and also playing the EXE file. Any ideas? Thanks.... Gary
  2. Al... Yes, I went into the timeline and clicked below the timeline...just trying anything...and then it worked. I did not have this problem in previous versions. I did make the DVD video and it came out really nice. But then I went back to the program and re-did the font of some text on the last two slides. 3. Sorry I put this in the other Forum by mistake...still learning how this Board works. I have a slideshow that have over 700 images. And it works just fine as an .exe. However, when I try to create a video of it, I get an error message of "not enough transition points." Well, I'm pretty sure there are plenty transition points. I am using the 'customize sychronization'. I get the error message whether I hit Create AVI or Preview. Can anyone tell me what might be going wrong??? Thanks... Gary

  5. I would like a method that would allow the ability to match up the music tracks with slides. I have a slideshow with over 700 slides and 15 music tracks. It is difficult to match up what music is playing with which group of images. The maker of "PTE-Adjuster" recommended that: "Igor would add the lengths for each music selection to the .pte script file, I could easily change "PTE-Adjustor" to show which images were associated with which piece of music." That would be nice. But also, I thought of another way within the program to do this. When we are in the "Customize Sychronization" mode, it would be nice when we select "Waveform" if the name of that "Waveform" show up at the beginning of that Waveform. Thanks... Gary

Gary PS I tried to put this in the Suggestion for Next Version but I don't think it is in the right spot yet. Not sure how to get it in that Forum....Anyway, Igor, hope you read this one.
  7. I have created a slide show with over 700 images and 15 MP3 music tracks. All went well. However, I want to switch some of the music tracks around but, since the tracks are just instrumentals that are not memorable, it is hard to figure out what group of images are associated with each music track. I tried to use "Customize Sychronization' mode. In the past, as the slideshow was played, the images images would change as the music played. However, with this new version, the initial image just sits there as the timer scrolls and the music plays. Is there how it is supposed to work now??? I there any other way to associate the group of images that are shown with a particular music track??? It would be nice if the name of the music track was shown somehow next to each image so it is easy to determine exactly what is going on... Is this possible??? Thanks... Gary Edit: P.S. After playing around with the Customize Sychronization mode, I figured out how to get the images to show as it scrolled. You have to actually click on a slide number in the bottom section of the window. But I'd still like to know if there is a way to match up the slides that are to play with each music track.
  8. Thanks all for your replies. I just could not see the forest for the trees. Gary
  9. I put this question earlier but it didn't seem to get posted. Trying again: I initially 'created' the .exe filename with 'Create'. However, now I want the 'Create' button to create a different filename with this same PTE slideshow. I can't see how to make it stop using the old filename and use a new filename. After I 'create' the .exe file, I have to rename it using MyComputer. Is there anyway to make 'create' make a different .exe filename??? Thanks... Gary
