Yesterday I upgraded my Windows 10 machine I also have a Vista laptop and a XP machine all connected to the internet using wired Lan connections and using a paid security the same program that covers all three machines £30 . I cannot say I never have trouble but it has only been minor I avoid getting into trouble by only logging on to a sites with proper address such as microsoft.com or nero.com as examples and a known site in other words make sure it is the right place you are going . My way of thinking is the base of good computing is the operating system Windows and in all its forms over the years I have put my trust into and it has not let me down . Windows 10 in my opinion is the bees knees and I love Cortana and it was FREE, To sum up its down to three things Good programs , Trust and Good old common sense . Michael

Hi There I logged on to the forum this morning and noticed the site was showing PTE version 8.0.21 I my self are using 8.0.20 , I can find no update via the forum and when I click on any updates within the program it's self it tells me it is up to date , am I missing any thing ? Michael

Hi There I got into Photoshop many years ago by following Barry and others in Digital Photo Magazine . With my photography and computer upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop is a must for me and with Windows 10 and Photoshop CC 2015 and the promise of a new version of PTE it's like Christmas come early.Eric I have had no problems with security and bye the way only today on windows 10 there is a large update which among other things deals with security updates and while I am on about updates there is one for Photoshop CC 2015 today as well. I learnt along while ago if you keep off dodgy sites you stay secure .Please forgive an old mans waffle but I have read so much about security problems with windows 10 to me is a myth and scare mongering. Hi There I like to work out my own heights mostly done in Photoshop then transfered to PTE . The question about stability I work with PTE both in Windows vista and Windows 10 and find no problems at all . Michael

Hi There This is going to sound daft , would Dave like to do a new tutorial on using Slideshowclub because I am tearing my hair ( and I don't have that much left ) and I am just trying to download a show I don't like to think of what is involved in adding one I'm 75 and I thought I was quite good with computer programs but this is giving me doubt about myself. Hi There I dont know if this will give any clue but in my SlideShowClub the sign in and out works fine there every time. Michael

Hi There For last few weeks I have an a niggle with signing on to the forum , when I get to the forum page more often then not I am finding that I am already signed on .I do make sure that I hit the sign out button , I have tried all sorts ways to get round it but none are working to get it signed out.I seem to think their is a simple solution to this but if so it eludes me.
