Door out and Door in versions. Trying to make it look more 3D. Also put slide inside frame so all objects zoom correct. Maybe brick is not the best material for walls. Maybe wood or something else. Just playing around with transitions again. I was inspired but a much more complicated infinite snowglobe video on YouTube. 16:9 aspect ratio. Images from pexels.com. The border rectangles are actually rotated 90 degrees so it's like the image is inside a box. Any improvements welcome. Probably should have a door close version just for symmetry. I tested trimming your video about 5 times and it was successful every time. Have you tried to trim video with PTE on a different computer? Tom

Hi Judy, My old smartphone camera at the time this was recorded (Google Nexus 5x) didn't have electronic image stabilization. I'm just glad software can automate the X,Y,Z, and rotate frame transformations. If I had to adjust that many keyframes in PTE it would take me days to do what image stabilization software can do in a few seconds. I will probably not use Movie Maker as often when text outline is available in PTE. Tom

Microsoft no longer bundles the software with Windows 10 but you can still download it for free from archive.org. This Microsoft web page has more information. I have tried multiple video stabilizers but this is the easiest, fastest, and most accurate stabilizer software I have used. Export MP4 or WMV container at 1920x1080 60 fps up to 135 Mbps. If you need to stabilize video you might try Movie Maker. Tom

Fixed the wing layer problem and the removed extra copies of slides that were not visible. Also removed a couple of keypoints that were redundant. Hi John, Welcome to the forum. I still need to make a few changes. The bird flying away to the right side should have the wing layers reversed to avoid incorrect overlap. Also the embedded background might not be working properly. Playing with transitions can be very fun. Thanks, Tom

The 1660 Super is finally installed. PTE may not need 6 GB of GDDR6 but I can probably use it for other applications. GPU temp did go up to 50 deg. C on 4K lossless encode. The WindForce cooling system is great. The only problem is that the Gigabyte card has 1 hdmi and 3 displayport connectors so I will need to get an adapter to use my older DVI monitor for the second monitor. Tom

Hi Aleina, My wife and I live in a small town (population 18,000) in Northern California. Since we are only a few miles from the coast we rarely get snow (but lots of rain) unless we travel inland into the mountains. No kids, just us and our 3 cats. My wife likes to bake so we have plenty of Christmas desserts. I started using PTE many years ago before it supported video. Here is an example of curved wings. There is a short snap at the end of the incoming "bird" when it switches from curved surface to flat surface. Hi Lin, Hardware acceleration really helps speed up encoding videos in PTE. I have an 8 core AMD Ryzen 7 2700x CPU that is almost as fast encoding video. My 1660 super was shipped yesterday, but it might be a couple of days before it arrives. The only problem you might have is Nvidia driver support on older versions of Windows. Nvidia ShadowPlay is a really good screen recorder so I hope that works on your system. I sometimes use Windows 10 Game DVR, Bandicam, Faststone Capture, and Filmora Scrn. I know you have other screen recorders you could use too. Thanks, Tom

Hi Dave, I understand now. I was not linking to the master video properly. This might work great with my bird transition except I will need to change it so the bird is flying out on slide 1 (with only the video background remaining) and then flying back in on slide 2. I think that would work with a title slide with transparent png background also. The things you can do with PTE are amazing. On my PC in PTE when I place the video below the splitter and the video duration is longer than the slide duration. Does background video work only with custom transitions or with any transition that does not cover the screen? Tom

Hi Lin, Thanks for the transparent png cutout method. I have some photos of cats that I can use as test subjects. For video of a moving subject it would probably take a polygon mask editor with a number of keyframes (object tracking). Tom

Hi Lin, Thanks for the snow. Very nice. Living in Northern California on the coast we get rain but rarely any snow. I was looking at this video about foreground and background snow (small snowflakes only behind person) but was not sure how it would work in PTE. Davinci Resolve/Fusion can do this but I'm guessing I could create a custom mask in PTE and put the small snow in the background layer? Thanks, Tom

Hi Lin, Video in custom transition is limited to preview and videos, not in the exe file format. It also makes a larger .pteeff transition file (.zip) due to the video background. It might work for animated snow, water, clouds, etc. Thanks, Tom

With PTE 10 it seems like it would be easier just to create an EXE for each video with a button action "Run slideshow with return" back to the menu. Tom
