Holy cow. I knew that I was computer illiterate, but I didn't realize just how stupid I was! OK, don't laugh, but I figured out what I was doing wrong. Can't believe it (yeah, I had only created the slideshow using "preview"... I never actually "saved" it as an .exe file). I'm SO sorry for all of the confusion. I can't believe how dumb I was! YIPPEE!!! Thanks Ken/Fred -- just "moved" the file from my :F drive to the CD drive -- and just like Fred said, it prompted me to save the file (through CD Wizard). And (keep your fingers crossed) it seemed to work!!!! I'm going to try it on my husband's laptop tonight to make sure it plays on a computer that hasn't played it already... but I'm feeling very optimistic!! You guys are the best! Hi Ken: Thanks SO much for the help! (I've read many of your posts -- you're a great resource!!!). OK, don't laugh, but... Yeah, I don't know what program I have to burn CDs. (I said not to laugh). My operating system is Windows XP (professional version -- they'll probably want to take that back now!). All I did was copy my .exe file from my external drive to my CD drive... it worked, kinda. The slide show copied, but the music didn't nor did the customized transitions. I plan on having my friends/family just play this on their computors (not DVDs/TVs)... Hello: I'm brand new to PTE (but love the program so far). I've made a slide show with music and would like to share it with friends/family. I've tried to follow the AVI tutorial; I've read the forum messages on "problems creating a CD" (I don't have a DVD writer)... but I'm still lost. Do I need some other program? I've tried copying the presentation from my hard drive to a CD. That works, EXCEPT that my music didn't come with it and the transitions are randomized (vs. what I created)... Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Naomi
