  1. Igor, One more question: Can you make it possible to assign the Temporary Folder to a drive other than C Drive????? DG
  2. Thanks Igor. It's going to be a long 30-35 days!!! DG
  3. Igor, Please confirm: Is the Temporary File deleted after a NORMAL closure of the software? DG
  4. Xaver, Are you related to Davy? DG
  5. Rename the Download each time using underscores instead of dots. e.g. picturestoexe-setup_7_0_6.exe DG
  6. Didn't have to do that. DG
  7. Thanks Lin. DG
  8. Orizaba, Where EXACTLY does it not change the name? I have just tried it and the name is changed in O&A>Properties>Video. It is changed in O&A>Common>Name It is changed in the O&A Edit Panel. However, if the name in O&A> Common> Name is changed before changing the file in O&A >Properties> Video then the name in O&A>Common>Name is shown in the Edit Panel. DG
  9. This Template combines a Spherical Wireframe with text which spins around the sphere. The rotation is all done in the same slide and not as previously done by using 2 slides - one each for front and back. DG PLANET.zip
  10. A group of Templates showing some variations on "Wireframes". The Template is identical in each example, only the image being changed by overwriting with the same name in each case. The variations in the image - compression, colouration etc - are all done in an image editor. This allows the Template to remain the same but the results to be different and often unpredictable. The Template is a variation on the method suggested by Igor some time ago and allows for a simple Copy and Paste, Paste, Paste.............. DG WIREFRAMES.zip
  11. "plus two stops in the UK"
  12. Very entertaining! Excellent narration - is she available? I can think of a few people who's work would benefit from the addition of her voice! One thing puzzles me - why did you find the need to use that much Exposure Compensation in the UK? (). DG
  13. "Oh, ye of little faith"!! DG
  14. How it is acheived is not really my concern. Igor has that headache. I would like to see the Video clip inserted once and then the Audio be subjected to the same influences as the Video - i.e. if you fade the Video in and/or out then the Audio is faded in and/or out in the same time duration. This is what is needed. DG
  15. No, I understood. I still think that my way (overwrite) is quickest. DG
  16. Did anyone mention adding a png as a COPYRIGHT? That's a "one stop shop". Project Options / Control. If the images have the exact same name (with the added line) why not just overwrite the originals with the new ones. If you are worried about "losing everything" create a Template of what you have and do it on either the Template or the Original Project. Don't forget to tidy up afterwards. DG
  17. Igor's first try at incorporating video is not far short of being "perfect". What V7.5 needs to have in order to make it fully useable is: The ability to fade the video sound track in and out in step with the transition time. Feedback between the Cropping Utility and the Timeline. A graphical representation of the Video Sound Track along with the other Audio Tracks in a "multi track" waveform with envelope facilities. At present if you have to Fade In/Out using VideoPad then you must also do any necessary trimming/cropping in VideoPad making PTE's Cropping Utility redundant. If you don't need to Fade In/Out then it is already Practically Perfect. IMHO as always - other opinions are available. DG
  18. Isn't this community designed to do what is suggested? We pool ideas and techniques and bounce ideas off one-another. It is sometimes hard to say what is an original idea and what has "evolved" out of discussions and demos here. DG
  19. Lin, Back in December you said: "Hi Gary, Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy the software I would like to use anymore so for video editing, I use the free version of VideoPad Video Editor. I generally save the output from my edits in VideoPad in MP4 format, then let PTE do its variable bitrate conversion using 100% quality on the slider - but that's only if I'm using a high resolution video. Many of my video inserts are rather tiny and used for special effects such as fire animation or other output from Particleillusions which don't really need super high video quality because the viewer can't see any difference regardless of bitrate, etc. .............................. Best regards, Lin" I have been taking a look at VideoPad and I'm generally impressed. However, when I tried to save a Movie in MP4 format I had an error message which told me that I needed the Pro version to do this. Can you explain what needs to be done to Save As an MP4 from the free version? Apologies if this was covered subsequently. DG
  20. Agreed. There has to be a definable amount that a newbie can do without help. That's what the debate is about. DG
  21. Too quick for me! I was about to edit to say that "However, new users should not have to resort to third party tutorials whether they are free or paid for". DG
  22. Here's a thought Lin: If you stay abreast of the latest updates and try each new addition as it is introduced then you don't have to keep looking backwards. DG
  23. Thanks for the details. I enjoyed it - it must have taken a little organising in PTE!! 1700 images per 1m 18s - 0.04588s per slide? I believe you meant 16Gb? DG
  24. It's BB, doing what BB does best. Excellent. DG
