Just choose "Smooth" from the Dropdown Menu. Remember to apply to the First KF in an animation. DG

Gary, You keep saying that even though we have found a way for you to post unlimited shows on SSC. A small token exe and the full length embedded video will give you all that you want. If people want to comment then they will. Do you disagree or have I missed something? DG -

Apparently, I do not have permission to view it. Have you made it public? DG

Hi Gary, No offense meant. I guess the question to be asked is: "Who is my show meant for?" If for your friends then Facebook is ideal. DG -

Yes, but you have to upload an exe first ...and if the exe is above the size requirement of SSC you are ST****D. As I suggested earlier, if you add a short trailer of your show as an EXE you can THEN add the FULL FB Video clip as an embedded video in the DESCRIPTION. DG P.S. I tend to agree with what I think Barry said. Why embed at SSC when you can embed directly here and not have the hassle over the EXE size? DG P.P.S to me your show comes under the heading of "Home Movies" so beware, we have been inundated with "Home Movies" in the past. DG -

Linked/Embedded from Facebook (Example just to prove feasibility). The next question is: Is the quality of a Facebook derived Video any better or worse that YouTube/Vimeo? -
It is more of a tool for people who make manual shows for educational purposes perhaps? A show which contains a menu linked to other media is interactive, is it not? In a manual show it can be used to skip forward or backward if required or return to a menu. There are a couple of guys here who make such shows, but I don't think that they are for anything other than educational putposes. DG

Jill, After uploading an exe, a link can be inserted in the description to embed a video alongside (underneathe) the exe download link. So two different sections are not really needed? DG -
SOME of the options available in an interactive show are listed here: https://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/how_to_v9/button It does not have to be a button - it could be an object/text etc. DG

I picked up on MUR's suggestion based on what other PTE Forums are doing. It seems to work quite well for them - Maybe Tonton or J-C might comment on how well it works. DG -

How many feel that a sub-group titled "Work In Progress" for criticism and/or suggestions might be a worthwhile suggestion for Igor?? Such shows would need to be uploaded to a hosting site and linked for download. We already have the ability to post/embed completed shows here or in Slideshowclub. However, as Barry suggested above any comments should be polite and helpful. DG -
Please note that it is possible to Embed video published to Vimeo or YouTube in Slideshow club. First upload your exe file and then Embed your video in the description (or comments). If the exe does not comply with the current size restrictions then a short exe "trailer" can be uploaded which would then allow the embedding of the full length video. Igor advises that adding "&rel=0" to the link will prevent advertising at the end of the video ( YouTube). Example: https://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file/542-journey-to-the-lake-district/ DG

If you announce it here (in Slideshows and AV) you might get some feedback. You could also publish, as an mp4, to YouTube or Vimeo and embed it here (or at Slideshowclub). Embedding in Slideshowclub is (I think) only possible AFTER uploading an EXE. DG -
Sorry, I misunderstood. There are some shows on YouTube and Vimeo (mp4) but you have to download from Slideshowclub in order to view. DG
-
Slideshowclub is for posting exe files i.e. Completed Projects which you can download and run as the author intended. There is no facility for uploading/downloading the Project Files. DG

Custom transition changes when sharpening used
davegee replied to Cedric Dawnhawk's topic in Troubleshooting
If you examine the Diamond.pteeff in the CT Editor you will see two Mask Containers. The foreground one uses a PTE generated rectangle (square) as a mask operating on slide 2. The background one uses the same (slightly larger) mask to create the outline operating on a white rectangle. You could vary the outline thickness. Colour etc - I used 4% and white. I also started the mask zooms at zero. Yours jump in at something like 5%? DG -
Custom transition changes when sharpening used
davegee replied to Cedric Dawnhawk's topic in Troubleshooting
I have no idea why you are seeing that effect - one for Igor. However, would suggest that you examine your reason for wanting to use Unsharp Mask. If the native size of your mask and surround were bigger then the un-sharp mask would be unnecessary. Also the "Outline" is not needed - you can create that in the Custom Transition. Try this: Diamond.pteeff DG P.S. V9.0.21 is available. -
