I have updated W10 with no problem but did not allow the nVidia update. No problems so far.

Try dragging just one image into the slide list of a new project. Make sure that the image resolution is not greater than the project resolution e.g. 1920x1080. Now hit the Preview button. Does it still freeze? DG

Right Click on the Missing Object in the Object Panel in Objects and Animation and "Remove". Version 9 has a "utility" which will help to find missing files. DG
-
This is either because the images have been moved or deleted from the folder they were in when you built the project. The usual advice is to COPY images etc that you want to use in a project to a project folder and also save the .pte file to that folder. DG

If you have 9 you do not need to buy 9.0.16. Download from here in the forum.

Try a black BG?

If I understand your question correctly then no, pte cannot have a transparent BG. ...... .......but you might get the effect you are looking for with a white BG. Set in Slide Options.

I have asked a number of Mac users during the time that the Online Help has been in existence for similar articles but unfortunately nobody seems to be able to spare the time/effort. If at any time you feel that you could contribute, I am sure that the PTE community and MAC users in particular would benefit. Just drop me a PM and we could discuss it further? https://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/hotkeys/main DG

(SOLVED) Clickable Menu Items do not work with Multiple Frames
davegee replied to jkb's topic in Troubleshooting
You can use "Transparent to selection" for each of the Frames (O&A/Properties). DG -

When I create a Style or CT I generally name it to indicate what the image/object/slide is going to do. The resulting Style/CT can be easily renamed by the user to fit his/her perceptions of direction and what is moving.

It depends on how much editing you need to do. For basic RAW conversion both Nikon and Canon have their own free converters and both are underrated and largely ignored by users. As a long time NX2/NX-D user for Nikon RAW I could happily survive without Adobe but my need for layer based editing will keep me subscribing annually for a while longer. DG

But you have "Zero" for other parameters. Doesn't the same argument apply to them? DG
