  1. Igor, In Version 8, if I add a one line Text Object I can set the Percentage Zoom to 20%. If I then add text and create 2 or 3 lines of text in the same Text Box the Percentages will be 40% and 60%. If I do the same thing in Version 9 I get 20%, 39.633% and 59.266% Am I missing something? DG
  2. My Sony TV supports 60fps MP4 with no problem. DG
  3. Igor, The following also work fine on a W10 Laptop: Films and TV Windows Media Player Power Media Player DG
  4. I have added a "curved" Triptych to the "V9 Framing" Style Category. Any AR image in any AR Project - Universal. V9 Framing.ptestyle DG
  5. Barry, That is a feature of your media box. A media player on a more recent tv will play the full resolution when playing from usb. A new BD player will do the same thing as your media box - tv safe zone. DG
  6. Hi Igor, I just made a new MP4 with those settings in 9.0.5 and heard no Click or error sound. DG
  7. With regard to the BLUR question, if you make the two images Children of a Frame or other Object with zero opacity you can blur each one independently. With regard to the Opacity, it works the same in Version 9 as it did in Version 8. DG
  8. I will keep trying to reproduce it. DG
  9. Horizontally scrolling text: In O&A add your text object over your image. Right click in Object Panel - Add Text Object. There will be a Key Frame on the left of the O&A timeline bottom of screen. Clone that Key Frame (KF) and move it to the right side if that timeline. Right click on it - Clone - Drag to right. Go back to the left KF and PAN the text until it is just off screen to the right. Go to the right KF and PAN the text until it is just off screen to the left. Play the animation. Is this what you mean? DG
  10. THis makes absolutely no sense to me. The purpose of that setting is (primarily) to set the duration of new slides. It does not affect Video Clips added to the Slide List. A Video Clip added (dragged into) the Slide List will set its own Duration. If, at some stage, I want to change the Duration of a slide or a group of slides (Contiguous or Non-Contiguous) I use Slide Options. I can also change the "Slide Name" in Slide Options to identify Video Clips, Main Images which are PNG, GIF etc or anything that I want if adding an identifier in PS etc is a problem. (This does not alter the Image File Name). DG P.S. Surely a more sensible suggestion would be an option in Slide Options to "Lock Duration" of a slide?
  11. Jan, Close your Project and PTE. Open PTE. Click on File / Open to open your Project (even if it opens automatically). Are you now able to Publish?? DG
  12. I confirm what Gary and Jan seem to have found. If you open PTE and then click on File / Open to open your project the the Publish / HD Video works as expected. If you navigate to the .pte file in Windows Explorer (etc) to open the Project then the Publish / HD Video stalls. DG
  13. Jan, When you add the video to the Slide List does PTE ask if you want to "Convert" it?? Do you "Convert" it?? DG
  14. Does PTE ask if you want to "Convert" the Video?? Do you convert the Video?? If the MOV file is only 11 seconds (or less) can you post it (with a link) so that someone here can look at it?? DG
  15. Frans, Please explain "A UHD MP4 does not play on a 64 bit laptop with a 1920x1080 screen" ?? It plays fine on my Laptop albeit at 1920x1080. Do you get an error message or a crash? DG
  16. Gary, I might be wrong but I don't think that your Card's Highest Resolution has to be 1920x1080. If you connect it to a Monitor with a higher resolution via HDMI it will recognise it and set that resolution. But it will not pump out 3840x2160 if you are connected to a 1920x1080 Monitor. I would not buy a 4K TV "hoping" that your last statement is correct - I would want to try it first in the showroom with a USB Key. DG
  17. A UHD MP4 plays fine on my laptop with its 1920x1080 screen because it is being compressed/converted by the graphics card. So connecting it via HDMI to the HD TV is not going to change anything unless the TV (or monitor) has a native resolution of 3840x2160 and the Laptop is set accordingly. When you connect your Laptop to the HD TV, what resolution is set? DG
  18. Did that a few years ago. Too many disadvantages. MP4 on a USB key is best option for HD TV. DG
  19. Main Window: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/main-window/main O&A: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/objectsandanimation/main Etc: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/main DG
  20. I have always used the MEDIA PLAYER in my Sony HD TV to play MP4 from a USB Key. I put a UHD MP4 made with PTE onto a Key and tried to play it. I hoped that the Media Player was clever enough to be able to convert that 3840x2160 MP4 back to 1920x1080 and play it. But, it is not clever enough or perhaps the TV is not new enough. I got the "Unsupported Content" message presumably meaning that the Media Player does not support anything bigger than 1920x1080 MP4s. I will do a little more research into newer HD TVs to see if they are able to do this. If you have any thoughts I would like to hear them? DG
  21. Igor, My Sony TV will not recognise the MP4 - "Unsupported Content". Not surprising perhaps, because it is HD and not UHD, but I was hoping that the Media Player would convert the File from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080. A 1920x1080 MP4 made from the same 3840x2160 images plays OK (obviously) DG
  22. All that is needed - in this case - is to Search the Online Help for "Two Pass" (including the quotation marks. DG
  23. Select Custom in the Dropdown Menu. Then change the Mode to Bit Rate. DG http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en-us/9.0/videobuilder/main#hd_video
  24. Claudio, Think of it as a re-organisation of the elements which were available to you in V8. You add KF to the Mask itself and not to the Stencil. Apply this style as per instructions in the style and Analyse in O&A. Masks - Mask Template.ptestyle DG
  25. Can you make the ISO (Untick everything else)? What is the file size? Create the ten sequences as MP4 and write to a DVD as Data. A Modern DVD Player will play the MP4 Files from the DVD. DG
