  4. You appear to be the only one using that Terminology, but if it helps I will add "extract". I am not sure that, at the time it was written, the intention was to extract rather than add. Glad that you found it eventually. DG
  5. I do not agree that people "don't realise" that it is there. It has been well documented on the Online Help since it became available. Anything which would make it easier would be an advantage some time in the future. DG
  6. Hi Michael, Yes, and the upgrade price will not be too far from the price quoted here. Keep an eye on that page for more accurate information, or if you are still on V7.5 or earlier, upgrade now to V8 and the serial will work for V9. DG
  7. Craig, I have added a Prototype Family Tree Style (Interactive) in the Styles Section. HERE It is a Starting Point for anyone to customise to their own requirements. The levels go from Great Grand Parents to Great Grand Children based on "ME". DG
  8. A Prototype Family Tree Style. Add a Blank Slide (16x9:1920x1080) and apply the style. Run in Preview or create an EXE. Choose a starting point. The Preview/EXE is Interactive. The "DOWN ARROWS" are active for the FIRST CHILD at each level. The "UP ARROWS" are active for the MALE at each level. The "UP ARROW" for the female PARENT is active. The PHOTO links are all active and RETURN to the correct level. Please feel free to "Jazz It Up" and Add/Subtract Children (and Pages) as required and spread them out. I haven't catered for multiple marriages at any level - you can add spouses. Change the NAMES and DOB/DOD for each relative as appropriate. Family Tree.ptestyle DG
  9. Craig, How would you do it? It is possible to start with the "furthest back" relatives and their children and use Hyperlinks to move down the line. Or, you could do it in the opposite direction and move up the line (and sideways). You could do both and let the viewer choose the starting point. The other option is to zoom and pan all over the screen and (perhaps) totally confuse the viewer. It depends on whether you want to tell a story or make it totally interactive. Lots of combinations - linking back is very important. If you make it "generic" you could make a Style out of it which would allow the user to fill in the names? DG

  14. This is an experimental "Passive" Custom Transition which has no animation of its own and allows the Animation in two adjacent slides to operate in conjunction with the Splitter, Transparent Background and Use BG from Slide. Passive.pteeff DG
