  1. Strips Horizontal and Vertical - FINAL. I have added Smooth Speed of Animation to both. 16x9 and 3x2 versions in Both. See next post.
  2. P.S. Barry is right - I see these Styles as "building blocks" for further experimentation. Here is the FULL Style for the Strips DEMO in the first post. You can change the BG to something of your own after applying the Style to two 16x9 Images. Strips 16x9x2.ptestyle DG P.S. You can apply this Style to Multiple Slides as follows: Add 4 images to the Slide List in the order 1,2,2,3. Highlight all and apply the Style. You should now have 6 slides - delete slide 4. Set "Repeat Show" and play in Preview.

  4. Carmelo, Can you wait for a few more Beta? I am not sure what the structure is going to be - as soon as Igor makes a decision I will contact you. DG
  5. Vertical Strips: These should suit either 16x9 or 3x2: Strips 01 Vertical.ptestyle Strips 02 Vertical.ptestyle
  6. Settings/Preferences/Templates?? Export them to a folder of your choice and import on the new PC. DG
  7. I think that the problem that you had was purely to do with the 16x9 Frame that I used. When that was changed to 3x2 it all fell into place. So creating 3x2 from 16x9 is not that much of a problem (horizontally). DG
  8. That's great - is there a demo to follow? DG
  9. it is a Basic Style meaning that all i have done in both styles is the "hard work" of splitting the image into 20 horizontal Strips. It appears that it does nothing until you look at the Objects Panel. You can animate any or all of the Strips. DG
  10. I will PM you. DG
  11. I won't Labour it any longer Thanks. DG
  12. Thanks Barry, I can't help thinking that you mis-read the question. At present in V9 we have: 16x9 = 1920x1080 3x2 = 1920x1280 Would it not make more sense if they both had the same height instead of the same width?? It's OK - I can live with it. DG
  13. Barry, Do you have an opinion on the default 3x2 resolution? To me, it would make more sense if it were 1620x1080. However, it is easy to make a Template. DG
  14. I'm thinking that 1920x1280 is WRONG! I will have to make a 1620x1080 Template!! DG
  15. Lin, I think that I have found the problem. The default resolution for 3:2 is 1920x1280. To enable the Style to work you need 1620x1080. In a 3:2 1620x1080 Project this Style will work OK - I just tweaked the original a little bit.. Strips 1620x1080.ptestyle DG
  16. I can see what you mean - Sorry - 16x9 Only. Will you do the others? DG
  17. 16x9 in 16x9 Project. I default to 16x9 these days. I would love to see a comments box for the Style Creator - I have suggested it more than once. DG P.S. What AR did you use (out of interest).
  18. Denis, You should post here and then we would know! DG
  19. Your post including stripes brought this to mind. Lots of possibilities. DG
  20. It is nice to see Strips/Stripes making a come-back. I resurrected this old project to see if I could make a Custom Transition or Style from it. The Demo is in the ZIP and the basic Styles are also added. Please feel free to use them as the basis for further experiments. Strips.zip Strips 01 Horizontal.ptestyle Strips 02 Horizontal.ptestyle Just add a single image and apply either style. Animation not included. DG P.S. 16x9 Images in 16x9 Projects only - so far
  21. Nice Demo
  22. I think that we have to take these things to their conclusion or until they cannot go any further before deciding what works and what doesn't. If you remember the chronology of this thing I played around with Windows and Masks for a while until Igor saw something that he liked and wanted to create a Preset Style for. However, someone thought that it could/should be done in PTE in a way that he could understand and that prompted Igor to introduce the Framing feature. Who knows, we might get to another Eureka moment and something else could come out of it. There is one feature which I am still waiting for which is crucial to this technique and I will carry on until we get it. DG
  23. Gogs, I have been experimenting with things like the one shown below where I have mixed Framing with PTE generated Masks. Animation of all elements inside and outside of the Framing/Masks but I am not sure if the effort required is worth it

  25. Fun with Triptychs:
