  1. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/searchtips/main I have added "(Detail)" to Table so that if anyone searches as you did it will pick up the both. If there are any other suggestions............................... (keep them clean ) DG
  2. It is not like a Google search. One word is better. But in your case the word that you were looking for was "Table".
  3. Gary, What did you search for? I'll amend the Help File to make a search for "detail" bring up the same result as "Table". DG
  4. Online Help - Main Menu - Settings: Online Help - Hotkeys:
  5. You are getting a little mixed up between Slide Styles and Custom Transitions. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/slide-styles/main The ptestyle file is a STYLE. Open Slide Styles in the Slide View and go from there - read the Help File for Importing a Style.
  6. Demo: Project1_Aug20-2016_19-24-07.zip DG
  7. Slide with Transparency.ptef Try this with two slides containing Images at 80% of a 3:2 Aspect Ratio with different shades/colours of BG. For example:
  8. How many images - are you resizing your images to around 1920 wide? Straight out of camera is not a good idea. Audio - mp3 - not wav. Any video? More details would be good?
  9. Interesting discussion - I learned a bit about the Share Tab. But is it not in the wrong place? Can it be moved?
  10. CD Player or CD Burner? Have you Upgraded to W10 or bought a PC with W10 ready installed. Someone else here had a similar problem with an upgrade to W10 - he downloaded burning software. Anyone else "upgraded"? Does the Upgrade include a CD/DVD Burner? DG
  11. Have u tried to make an ISO?
  12. Nothing to do with your DVD Burning problem but the latest version is here: ... and many other problems have been solved. DG
  13. Very often you want a piece of music to start and end as per the original recording. In the PTE8 audio I use two instances of the same piece and do the fade in/out at an appropriate point somewhere in the middle of the piece. That leaves the beginning and end intact and with care you can make the "join" seamless. All done in PTE without the use of mirrors DG
  14. In Bert's case it probably would have loaded the two files (PC and MAC) separately and created two entries on the SSC screen. But, I did not think to try that. DG
  15. Maybe I am wrong but I am always suspicious of someone who joins the forum and immediately posts an advert for a software solution. DG
  16. P.S. Assuming the file size has "something" to do with it I have now played the PC version and cannot see any reason for the high file size. No Video. Are you using Full Resolution images SOC? Are you using WAV files? You can make a 100 slide EXE for around 55Mb easily so why the 130Mb? DG
  17. I tried to upload on Bert's behalf and, almost immediately, got the "-200" error message. Bert, Your files are 130Mb each, which is quite big. I have not played them so I don't know if there is any Video in there or what other reason there would be for such a large EXE. I would have thought that SSC would be able to say straight away if the file was too big but it did attempt the upload. I have never had this problem but also I have never before tried to upload a 130Mb file. I have asked Igor to comment - perhaps he can throw a little light on it. Another possibility is that there is something in the files which SSC sees as a "threat". Try uploading a new small demo file to see if you can. DG
  18. Latest Version here: DG
  19. Ok Bert, it is around 11pm here now. I will try first thing tomorrow. No PM yet. DG
  20. Bert, If you can upload the file to DropBox etc and send a link in a PM to one of us with your PTE Forum User Name and Password we could try what Barry suggests and will let you know the result. Afterwards you could reset your password. DG
  21. Finding a specific image in an exe is not a problem using a template set up for Competition with a menu with hyperlinks. I set up a "Home" button on each page so that returning to the menu from anywhere is possible. But you have go through the menu each time. Being able to right click and choose a specific slide would be a help but even then it might be tricky. If you have two introductory slides then image 91 would be something like slide 93. I also put blank slides between images so that the images would not dissolve into each other. A further complication. Being able to scroll through pre-labelled slides would be a way forward.
  22. PTE is losing out to Irfanview and other presentation softwares for Competition use because of PTE's inability to be able to label slides/images for selective showing later on. According to a Facebook report you can press "x" (in Irfanview) to mark a slide/image and at the end of the show press Ctrl or Shift and Q to replay the selected slides/images. I would imagine that this is difficult to achieve with an exe file but there might be another way around it. PTE needs to be more Competition Friendly and perhaps it is an area that could be investigated later on? P.S. A suggestion that I made some time ago was to have a stripped down version of PicturesToExe without all of the Animation Bells and Whistles which would merely show the images which were inserted at a selected Project Resolution. Alternatively the show could be in a format created from the full version via the Publish Menu. The ability to present selected slides which were labelled "on the fly" would be essential.
  23. I have lots if you want to try something different? DG
  24. Sorry, maybe I was a little harsh but I have never associated Gershwin with Italy. I expected light, airy strings or maybe some subtle mandolin.
  25. Maureen, Lovely Images - nicely put together. But, for me, the music does not "fit". The "bluesy" music is either New York or the Deep South and if you didn't know what the piece was called its relevance would be a puzzle. DG
