Stu, My only interest in this is in ensuring that the Online Help is correct (ongoing task) and I tried this feature. Sure enough, you cannot use it on the First Slide which begs the question: "Why can you set it if it will not work"? Should it be "Greyed Out" on the First Slide in Slide Options? Something to ask Igor sometime? If slide two has a transition the External Application is triggered when Slide 1 is still at 100% Opacity and is left on screen behind the External Application. Thanks, DG

You can change it in the Slide Options dialogue (as well). Highlight all slides that you want to change Duration of. Click on First and Shift Click on last or swipe the cursor over them and anything that you do in Slide Options will apply to all. DG

It is always difficult to answer queries when the Essentials versus Full Edition is not stated. If you don't want to " lash out another $50 and upgrade to the full version" another suggestion would be to try the Styles Caption Menu to see if that would help you? Slide Styles can be used in any Edition but only created in the Full Edition. There are a variety of Built-In Caption Styles which "might" help. But be aware that applying a Style will wipe out any existing animation that you have created. If you start with an image or images that you have dragged into the Slide List you can apply one of the Caption Styles, edit the Text to your liking and then apply further animation. If you had the Full Edition you could create a Style which included the required Caption plus any Global Animation and apply that to single or Multiple Slides. That way you could automate the creation of a show of (for example) hundreds of Slides in seconds. The example shows the result of a simple style which adds the Image Name as a Caption and reduces the Image to 80% automatically for Single or Multiple Slides. Using a Style allows you to be selective about which Slides have the Captions and which Slides do not. Caption and 80.ptestyle Any of the following could be added as Captions Automatically by using a "User Created" Custom Style on Single or Multiple Slides in the Full Edition.

Are you refering to Project Options / Defaults / Text Comment? Add the Comment that you require in Insert Template and then click on Customize Font. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/project-options/defaults_tab DG

Mark, There is an upper limit which appears to be around 140Mb. You could read this thread in its entirety and it will indicate the figure that you perhaps need to aim at. I'm pretty sure that it is less than 360Mb. I think that you need to discuss it with Igor when he gets back? DG

Mark, Igor is away for a few days. Recent "problems" have all been related to file size. What's the total file size that you are trying to upload? DG
-
OK, I get it. Good luck. DG
-
WHY are your shows around 140Mb? Is it that there are many slides or is it the size/resolution of the images? Are the images "optimised" I.e. no bigger than they need to be given the project size (e.g. 1920x1080) with some panning/zooming? DG
-
Is that a restriction of your ISP? DG
-
Been there - done that. Good luck and if it fails again be sure to explain where it fails and post any error messages. Lakelandlass has posted earlier this week and I posted (a test) this morning so I don't think that there is anything wrong with the upload procedures. DG

I have updated the Slideshowclub Help File: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/slideshowsclub/main If we knew just a little more about where things are going wrong we might be able to offer more help? File size is the first thing that comes to mind - there is an upper limit of (I think) 180Mb. If you are uploading PC and MAC versions that is (I think) 90Mb each. Stick with it. DG

Try one font and Right Click - it should give you the option to install? Just from memory - maybe wrong. DG -

http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/searchtips/main I have added "(Detail)" to Table so that if anyone searches as you did it will pick up the both. If there are any other suggestions............................... (keep them clean ) DG
-
It is not like a Google search. One word is better. But in your case the word that you were looking for was "Table".
-
Gary, What did you search for? I'll amend the Help File to make a search for "detail" bring up the same result as "Table". DG

You are getting a little mixed up between Slide Styles and Custom Transitions. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/slide-styles/main The ptestyle file is a STYLE. Open Slide Styles in the Slide View and go from there - read the Help File for Importing a Style.
