Right click on any Style and choose "Change Style Category". If you are creating a new style just enter a new category name during the Create operation and it will create it for you. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/slide-styles/create_style Enter the Name of the New Category that you want to create and hit "Change" or enter the name of an existing Category to "Move" the Style. DG P.S. You can't edit the built in Categories that install with PTE.

A simple style which creates a Mask with a Border. Add a single 3:2 image to a 3:2 Project or a 16:9 Image to a 16:9 Project Slide List and apply the Style. Other AR Images will be in "Cover Slide" Mode and might need a little adjustment. The result is a Mask which can be copied and pasted as many times as required into another slide. The Image has a subtle zoom effect. Simple mask with Border.ptestyle Simple Portrait Mask.ptestyle Star Mask Style.ptestyle (Add image to Slide List and Apply the Style. Adjust Size and Position of the image to suit). DG

Updated the Album.ptestyle to be compatible with both 3:2 and 16:9 Projects. Album.ptestyle DG

My first shot at a complete 3:2 Photo Album Style: Album.ptestyle Style needs a minimum one image - no upper limit. Add a Landscape Image(s) to the Slide List (3:2 Project) and Apply the Style. Optimised for 3:2 AR but any AR can be added albeit that some adjustment might be necessary. Pages can then be added from the Styles in the first post of this thread following the individual instructions contained in the styles. DG

Update: I have just learned something I didn't previously know from someone who tried this on another forum. I have reported a number of times that BluRay DVD Players mostly have USB inputs and will play MP4 through a TV Media Player. However, I had not realised that BD Players will also read Data DVDs. So if you burn MP4 files to a DVD as data the DVD can be read on a BD Player and played via HDMI on a HD TV. I have tried it on my Sony BD Player and confirm that it works.

The answer to this little puzzle is in the hands of the Style Author. Example: Add a Blank slide. In O&A add a Gradient Rectangle (Default Colour) In Slide Options change the slide name from BLANK to STYLE BLUE GRAD Create the Style Add another Blank Slide Apply the Style Blue Grad Style In the Slide List it should now read: 2. STYLE BLUE GRAD

The question mark has been inserted where the "colon" sits in the file name. Maybe the colon is not allowed? DG

Thanks Dawn. Try this - add ten 3x2 images to the Slide List in a 3x2 Project. Pack of Cards 3x2x10.ptestyle If you want to add a further ten images, start the sequence with the last image from the first group. DG

Thanks Igor, Version 8.0.20 solves the Styles problem. DG

George, Just to clear up any possible misunderstanding, when I refer to 3:2 or 16:9 when posting styles the AR is the PROJECT AR ant not the image ar. For instance, if you import my Album page 01 Style and apply it to one of your 4:3 images (in a 3:2 Project) the style will "fit" the image to the frame that I made cropping a little off the top and bottom. You can adjust the "fit" later if you want. Try it? DG
-
George, Your choice of AR depends on your own preferences. If you have an SLR then you are more likely to be producing 3:2 images which fit nicely into 3:2 shows. Compact cameras tend to favour the 4:3 AR so you might want to use that. If you show your images on your TV and have a modern tv then you are likely to want to make them 16:9. The 16:10 AR is favoured by those with 16:10 monitors. I have DSLR cameras and a 16:9 TV and show my work via mp4 files so I tend to favour either 3:2 or 16:9. Styles are not always AR specific but when including backgrounds etc in the style they "sometimes" need to be fashioned to suit. I tend to discount the 4:3 and 5:4 AR and concentrate on the other two. But if someone wants to SELL Styles the he has to seriously consider the market. DG

I have grouped the two Album Pages Styles into "Static" and "Animated" Folders. All Styles are compatible with both 3:2 and 16:9 Project AR. Static.zip Animated.zip

Nine more animated styles added and the demo updated. DG

When creating a Style you can specify the Category in which they will reside. I specified a separate Category - "Album Pages". You can organise your styles this way by creating Categories and moving your styles into them. DG P.S. You cannot move the Preset Styles - only your User Styles.
