  2. Loved your show on ORTA. I left comments and rated it 4 stars. I would have given it five if you had cleaned up those dust bunnies :):)

  3. Jan,

Your show is spectacularly well done! I like the simplicity of the shots and also the smoothness with which the shots were executed. I guess that you must have used some sort of Stabiliser? The quality of everything was first class.

  4. Judy,

I am nine months into an ANNUAL subscription and, to the best of my knowledge, have never had to "authorise". It probably needs to be checked out with someone but surely, an annual payment is more sensible?

    Best wishes,

      Thanks for writing, Dave,

I am OK with it.  I am accustomed to odd behavior of internet based apps when traveling, certainly including Email.  Issues occur when switching a VPN on / OFF or crossing borders into Asian countries.  It's all well and good and not really a problem.  My intent is not to complain at all but to have friendly conversation.  I just traveled from Asia to America and back, three countries,  the lasts few days and my brain might be a little ferhoodled with jet lag.

  5. My take on an effect which has become fashionable with the BBC. With a little imagination and reasonable Photoshop skills you can isolate an object or person from the BG and create a 3D effect. This example uses two unrelated images. Unzip the file, open the PTE File and run in Preview. GIBBS2_Dec3-2015_17-20-10.zip Tip: Take either slide into O&A and click on "Frame1" on the RHS. Place the mouse cursor inside the "bounding box", click and "wiggle it around" to see extra effects. The changes which make it possible are in the Z Control of 3D Parameters. DG P.S. Just tying up a loose end.
  6. Alan, The post was Igor's so firstly, I don't think even an admin can override his post. He might do it himself having received your request. As for being misleading, I wonder if it was a time-limited offer? It was quite a while ago. As for version 8, it is certainly worth the upgrade cost with many new features which you can trial for free. It might be worth another email to ask whether, if you bought now, you would qualify for a free upgrade to version 9? DG
  7. Hi Michael, This is about default Project Resolutions - you can fit any Image Resolution you wish. Do you use a Project Resolution which is less than suggested?? DG
  8. This post has been withdrawn because of what amounts to yet another very sad personal attack which has been brought to my attention. Furthermore I have decided to withdraw from the Forum temporarily (?). I can deal with aggravation in my private life and I can deal with aggravation in this forum. However both at the same time is more than I want. I wish you all a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. DG
  9. Canico, Search for VOICE COMMENT instead DG
  10. Contact wnsoft quoting your email address and the date that you purchased v7.5. DG Check your existing serial. If the format is: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx it "might" allow you to install V8?? V8 will not overwrite V7.5 so you won't "kill" anything.

  12. At the time of writing Styles are not “additive” and if a Style is applied to a Slide then any original animation is overwritten by the Style. However, it is possible to “combine” styles in two ways (with a proviso). If the two Styles being combined relate to different object/images then the process is no more complicated than a simple Copy and Paste from one Slide to another and the resulting “combined” Style can be saved as a new Style. If the two Styles to be “combined” relate to the same Object/Image then in is necessary to adopt a new strategy for creating Styles to facilitate this. The strategy that I have adopted is the use of Frames to host the Object/Image so that the Frame has all of the Animation applied to it leaving the Object/Image free of all animation (it "inherits" the animation of its parent frame). Here’s a simple example: PTE has two BASIC Styles called “Pan Down” and “Pan Right” where the animation produced by the Style is applied directly to the Image. I have made new versions of these (and other) basic styles so that the animation is applied to a frame which holds the Image. By dragging two instances of a single image into the Slide List I can apply “Pan Down (DG)” to the first and “Pan Right (DG)” to the second. If I then delete the Image from the first instance in Objects and Animation and leave its Frame I can Copy and Paste the Frame from Slide two to the Frame in Slide one as shown below. The result is shown below: Further refinements: The procedure could be repeated to obtain a result with 3 or more frames. The image could then have animation applied to it. All of these steps could be saved as individual Styles and result in a saving of repetitive work when building a project. Here are the Styles: Pan Down DG.ptestyle Pan Right DG.ptestyle Pan Down Right DG.ptestyle
  13. Thanks. ....and previous versions? DG
  14. That's what we are here for - to help each other and point new users in the direction of Help Files?
  15. Try it Lin, He can be excused for thinking that he is Zooming - that exactly how it looks Take a slide into O&A and with the object/image selected Hold Alt+Left Mouse Button and move the Mouse North/South and watch the Pan Z parameter in the 3D Box. DG
  16. Lin, See my reply and the Hotkey section of the Help File. DG
  17. "One thing that bugged me is that when I use the (undocumented?) zooming feature......." http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/hotkeys/main The reason that the Zoom Value stays at 100% is that you are not Zooming in the strictest sense - you are altering the Pan Z Parameter. i.e. you are moving the object closer or further away in 3D space at the same 100% Zoom value. Ditto the Cover Screen "Problem". See the Animation Tab / 3D Button. DG
  18. P.s. make sure that you do not have any previous versions I.e. version 7.xxx or v 8.xxx DG
  19. You didn't answer my specific question - have you used the PTE uninstaller?
  20. Give full details of the video files that you are trying to drag into the slide list.
  21. Not too clear from your posts - have you uninstalled / 're-installed using the PTE uninstaller and the latest download from these pages?? DG
  22. Hover your mouse in the area shown below until the double-headed arrow appears. The click and drag down. DG
  23. Same for me Ken.
