Well Igor, It did solve the problem once. When I modified the same project and then tried to create the EXE file, it came back. Crashes the program and I have to do Control-Alt-Delete to get it to shut down. Any new ideas?

YES!!! But let me tell you what else I had done. I recently - last Thursday installed Panda Cloud Antivirus This is what I wrote to Panda yesterday (They have not yet responded): But I now know that it works when I renamed the folder UPX2 Why is this - I am interested just on a technical level and that I do not have to turn off my virus protection. Is this error message actually from PTE? The email address where I got your response is one that I wish to terminate. How can I send a new email address to WnSoft? THANKS!!! vicbrasil

Thanks Conflow I have been a user of PTE since 2001 and this is the first time I could not build the EXE - only save to PTE. I had previously built and executed with V6 and could not figure out. So frustrated when I was trying to redo a presentation I had done in early 2002. See my response to Igor.

I downloaded PTE V6 and I cannot save the EXE file. Saving the PTE file is fine but cannot save to EXE Every time, new or old show, I get this error and hangs up the program. I have tried to contact wnsoft but cannot get on their support page as it times out. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?
