is there any way of saving or copy and paste a music track once it has been cut up on the track?

it would be nice if you could change the color of the box around the slide on the time line with a color of your choice.

I work with a partner making AV's under the name LongFish Productions. I mention this in case i forget and type WE instead of I we would like to fix pctures to a time on the timeline so they are set and dont move when adding more pictures in.

While i dont mind what Barry requires, and must admit i didn't know you could record straight into PTE so would go along with Barry on this. you can split an audio file but it would be nice too join an audio file and to be able to copy and paste audio files and copy/paste entire audio track,sorry to get off track

I like the dark interface but my partner in AV doesn't, he will come round and i do find it smoother on the video. Cheers Bern Longley

Hi Igor, We seem have solved the white line on right hand side of the ping. when we save the ping in Pshop we get four options the top two are only compression, but the bottom two are interlaced or none and we were always told to pick interlaced. we changed ours to none problem solved. This white as only happened from 9.19 to 9.22. We also now get the objects and animation slow to start. Hope this has been helpful, bye the way we have never none the difference between none and interlaced. Cheers Bern & Keith

We seem to have a problem with pings in Objects and animation. The problem has only cropped up in the last four to six months. When we pan a ping across the screen a white line shows up only on the right hand edge, we have cropped the edge off rubbed the edge off makes no difference it is still there. We have a ping zooming out and there's still a white line. Our images are 1920x1080, we managed to get rid of it and next we opened PTE it was back, is there a tick we haven't used or is it a bug

Thanks jt49, i have tried objects&animation, it is a work round and works, thanks for that. I really wanted to link two or more images, then link a sound clip to my linked images just in case we have to move them along the time line and they would all go together. Cheers Bern

I would like to cut a sound file and move them apart or one to another track, i could then add a voice track and cut it up and move where it is needed.

I would like to link two or more images on the time line to a sound effect. If i move the two or more linked images the sound goes with it.

It would do for me if five key frames could be selected to stay on all the time and not turn off when you click on the parent and child window. cheers Bern

I downloaded sp3 from official site, loaded it and it froze my computer had to reformat the machine Pen

The trouble is pte is starting to cater for all those out there who are just testing and experimenting instead of making AV,s. Making DVD,s is the last thing i want, though i do occasionaly write one but to make the program complicated just for that is a bridge too far. Pen

my AV partner and i have a soundtrack built up of over 80 tracks and we can move any voice or sound effect at will, of course we use Audition where we can have up to 128 tracks and usefull they are Pen
