Makes me think of Yogi Berra: "You can observe a lot by just watching."

Thanks for sharing that. I never learned to play banjo, but play mediocre to tolerable guitar. I wasn't a "natural," and sure wished I could learn as fast as that video! Like learning a foreign language--learn young! A friend and I used to play our guitars together and I loved the incredible surround sound as we played different parts. Then I met a forest ranger who played banjo. I never played with him, but another friend did and their sound together was magical. Years later my daughter played so-so violin with an accomplished Jewish pianist in performances and hearing them play together was almost heaven!

Good Grief. I want one of those! I love candid people pictures but am too bashful about getting in people's faces. My 70-200 2.8 feels and looks like a full sized ship cannon on the street. That bunny picture sells me! Now i just need to save a few thousand pennies.

I appreciate the idea and think it is well implemented. Barry, you did a spectacular job as with everything you produce. Experienced users also have provided good input and I think Help links to a library of select, quality projects is a great idea.

Great idea--well done.

Color management is clearer to me than it has ever been. I appreciate your time and effort to present so well.

Exactly. Umas, I appreciate what you are saying and probably you have a keener eye for the future than I have. That is why we need to share ideas together like this. Thanks for helping us think ahead, and I know Igor will as well.

I am probably putting out crumbs to bring crows picking an attack, but I suspect that other than printing, all the fuss about perfect colors is largely bunk. Obviously, they can be off far enough to matter, but the post-processing done by our brain producing what we actually "see" has a whole lot more latitude than a difference of say R 50 vs R 55. Right or wrong? Having said that I worry about it anyway.

Crop Factor VS Full Frame dSLR - when, why and how...
JudyKay replied to Lin Evans's topic in Equipment & Software
Good job Lin. Thanks. One other factor to toss in regarding FF vs CF sensors is the speed of writing data to the CF card. Shooting wildlife this might matter when a FF maxes out at 4-6 fps (Except the newer 1D's) and a CF sensor provides maybe 8 fps. I get in far away places doing street photography where that matters...maybe. I sure wouldn't be out there with a 1DX--not that I have one. -
He seems to have been active on youtube within the last 10 months, but his old website seems completely down. It was updated as recently as Dec 18, 2014.

I want to be able to sync some Lightroom Mobile collections, but not all collections, to specific IOS devices. I am using 2 iPhones and 2 iPads. Other than syncing to separate catalogs, is this possible? Example: I want iPad#1 to sync to a PC-based Lightroom Mobile Collection called iPad#1. I want iPhone#1 to sync to a PC-based Lightroom Mobile Collection called iPhone#1. I don't want the iPad#1 collection to sync to the iPhone#1 phone or vice versa. Is there a way to sync a specific collection only to a specific device? I can't seem to find an answer and hope someone here knows. I hope it's not too confusing. Thanks.

I fiddled with it, thought it was a good idea, but never actually used it.

Thanks, Lin.

BHPhoto is very reputable. They were offering $20 USD cheaper than Adobe, thanks to Scott Kelby, for a few days and I bet a huge number of people snatched it up, but that special is over now. May as well buy from Adobe now.

I hope this is OK to post here. If not I apologize, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1109799-REG/adobe_65259143_creative_cloud_photography_plan.html

O/A Window Double-Click to Edit file name
JudyKay replied to JudyKay's topic in Suggestions for Next Versions
Forgive you Dave? Never! You helped me and I am very grateful. Sadly, it seems like I used to know to use th arrow key. Now I do again. Please drop my dumb tab-key idea. -
O/A Window | Properties Tab | Object tree When using templates, such as a book, I create a template then set pages up the way I want them by coping pasting the images with the attributes I want such as borders, 3D settings, etc. Then I go through and edit all the image file names to the correct images. Make sense? Anyway Every time I want to edit a file path I have to click on an object and then go to the "Picture" Edit box to type the file name. My work would go much faster if all I had to do was double click image in the object tree and a nice very wide dialog box for the path would pop up. Maybe even a keyboard shortcut? ALSO... Set the cursor to the position before the .[extension] like Win * does when renaming. ALSO... I think the TAB key behavior in the Object Tree window should be to tab among sequential objects within the Object Tree window rather than to shoot all over the screen. Clicking outside that Object Tree Window could return TAB key control to full screen tab controls.

Thanks! I will use that! JK

Thanks Lin. That will work.

Question 1. Can we not apply blur to a mask? Would be nice to create an animated "soften edges" effect. Whey I apply blur, nothing happens. Question 2. I am creating a menu and want a small spinning cube in the corner. I created my cube just fine and all is well, but it only lasts for about 30 seconds. I want the cube to keep spinning for a much longer time. Is there a way to duplicate that first 30 seconds worth of keypoints, paste them and keep the cube spinning until kingdom come?

Do you mind sharing the template one more time? Please?

I really like the show and how you created the album--with a nice album ending. Wish I knew more about Bannack. I did a Google search which turned up some good information. Thanks.

Excellent, Mark. You did real good. You get my vote.
