  1. Took me 5 tries
  2. So make it a user option to set the default the way they want it.
  3. Merry Christmas!
  4. Awesome!
  5. Wow, beautiful! Barry, do you sell prints? I'd love to run a little booth on an Australian beach, with music like that playing on good Bose speakers, and sell your prints. (Agree with Bert, the white strips on the edges of my 1920 x 1080 screen just weren't right. But everything else was.) Simplicity accents the beautiful photos. And there was no need for keyboard control, in fact, I forgot to want it because your show was so good. JK
  6. It's time for a fresh plug at http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/ as well.
  7. I still think unicode support for file names and within object text fields would be nice. Especially so I can write 感谢您!
  8. Really nice photos and music and presentation. Overall purely enjoyable. JK
  9. Interesting photo presentation. Many truly awesome photos. Although, some photos seemed like beginners Photoshop-play gone overboard to me. The music...hmmm. Really didn't seem to connect with anything to do with the photos or slideshow. I love your photography, Barry, and your skill with AV. This one, however, was far from your best. But that is just an opinion. Still I like the photo piles and even the speed worked for me. I longed for a way to control the slide show, but alas...owell. Try again! For your niche, you have great talent! JK
  10. On the main page in Slide View, add a tiny animated mini-preview of the existing transition. Enable the ability to Right-Click on the tiny transition preview to quickly select the desired transition from a fly-out list. Presently, slide transitions are attached directly to a specific slide. Developing a slide show would be more intuitive if we thought of the transitions as an effect apart from the slide and between the slides. If anyone agrees, can you word this to make it more clear? Thanks JK
  11. Happy Birthday!!

  12. I too agree with all five.
  13. A very easy way is to use Dropbox. You won't need to split your file. You can send a private link to your friends.
  14. It's very easy to understand this way: For existing Standard Edition users nothing changes. For existing Deluxe Edition users there is a new purchase agreement for Deluxe Edition upgrades (There is no change for Standard Edition feature upgrades). For users making first-time purchases there is a new purchase agreement.
  15. Peter, You just taught me something really awesome! Thanks!
  16. Google translate gets the words right and the meaning across, but isn't often very accurate for translating the way people actually speak or write. For example it misses nuances of meaning and denotation, formal versus colloquial, etc.
  17. Chinese simplified: 你在哪里听到这个软件? Chinese traditional: 你從哪裡聽說這個軟件? Wait....This is better (also formalized): Chinese simplified: 您从哪知道这个软件? or 您在那里听说这个软件 Chinese traditional: 您從哪知道這個軟件? or 您在哪裡聽說這個軟件? I can't make up my mind, but I think the very, very last is best.
  18. I really like it. Thanks.
  19. Barry, thanks for the gallery link. Somehow, seeing the photos there made me feel altogether brighter about the slideshow. Thanks again. They really are amazing photos of an amazing place. One of my dreams is to visit Australia someday.
  20. Pretty Good! A bit Barry-esque The music and photos seemed inappropriately somber to me. Out of darkness and into darkness. I wondered if you were attempting but not quite capturing some Australian-spirit kind of thing. On the other hand it isn't romantic or warm or artsy or tree-hugger-nature, it's something else. Maybe its Photoshop. Maybe its Australia--I haven't been there. Yet. I watched it twice. I was annoyed at no keyboard control. I'd love to know more about the place. At least the name so I could Google it. The clouds moving and otherwise work. The rock colors are great. I don't know how much PS you did, but the photos had to be very hard to get and you did well. The brightness of the water in the dark settings is striking. You have a knack for transitions that really work, both the smoothness, softness, and the placement of photos that merge into and from each other.
  21. Wow! No response yet. Is it because no one else finds this to be a problem? Is my explanation not clear?
  22. I'm trying to think of a way to make this easy to understand so I'll try it like this: Go to O/A screen Add several keypoints On the Animation tab customize the Pan / Zoom / Rotate speeds by "Setting Up " | Glue or separate keypoints Problem: To make a smooth animation, often we may have to separate or glue every single keypoint for each: Pan / Zoom/ Rotate Solutions: 1. Have a "Glue All" and "Separate All" buttons that do everything all-at-once for risk takers a. "Glue All" and "Separate All" for each option: Pan / Zoom/ Rotate b. "Glue All" and "Separate All" for all the points in all three: Pan / Zoom/ Rotate at the same time 2. Make Pan / Zoom/ Rotate tabs for the "Speed Options" dialog box so that gluing and separating could be done without opening and closing so many separate dialog boxes (and if you are me -- forgetting at least one of them). I hope this is kind of clear? jk
  23. Happy Birthday!
