  1. I think it is inevitable.
  2. Blending modes are fundamental to layering images or videos. I see it as necessary to PTE moving forward.
  3. Commonly used, cheap, well time-tested and available around the world. Used for Lupus as well. Known by the military for decades. We have a lot of hope.
  4. Thanks for all that light!
  5. Thanks for a good message and slideshow. Nature is always soothing and re-orients us to love others as they are, wherever they are.
  6. Love the guitar work too. Who is it?
  7. Based on your experience and how you describe what you would like to do, I recommend PTE AV Studio Pro. Be sure to take a look here: https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/compare/
  8. Love it.
  9. Long live PTE AV Studio!
  10. Learned something quite useful. Thanks.
  11. For years I imagined Igor at home in a spare room full of computers and parts programming away all day. Later I imagined a couple others working in a stark, bare office room with a few desks, a few florescent lights and everyone told programming jokes and drank too much coffee. Now I see I was wrong. The whole team goes out bowling every night!
  12. Happy New Year and a LOT of gratitude to the WnSoft Team.
  13. Nice! Thanks.
  14. I am tinkering with Filmora Pro's new image stabilization which has object and editable edge tracking capability. It stabilizes over pans and more. Looks impressive. I haven't tested it well enough to offer an evaluation. Davinci Resolve is free and allegedly good, but I have never liked it.
  15. I am not a fan of software stabilizers. Seems to me that they always reduce image quality and crop the frame unacceptably. Haven't tried Movie Maker though in a long time.
  16. Just so you know, Barry has been adding an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience available as training online. I highly recommend subscribing: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSRlEl6raTzjc6ju4VvucJA/videos Or this: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSRlEl6raTzjc6ju4VvucJA/playlists
  17. Nice! Thanks for sharing that.
  18. My Father-in-law took about three years to sound normal and to drive/work again. Doctors said it wouldn't happen. It did anyway.
  19. Perfect for me. I had another program that did this, but would sometimes crash. It also worked my Video card to death. Hopefully this does better. Just beware that it makes a couple attempts to install other software. You can opt out.
  20. Are you happy with it?
  21. ...and they are very good.
  22. I have been following your new videos and they are excellent. Thanks.
  23. I don't know what version I began with but it had to be near the beginning of time. TRex may have still wandered the earth. I tried this and that software, but kept coming back to the buttery smooth PTE with its EXE files. I don't see any of my slide shows earlier than 2002 but I was using the software before that. Took a long while to convince me to fork out the money to buy it. I produced my first major presentation for humanitarian work in Africa in 2004. Somewhere early, I was amazed at whoever produced the Macarena dance show--probably posted at Beechbrook. Who produced that show? I am still impressed. I think I still have it somewhere on some dusty drive. It would have been about 2002 that someone made a jigsaw puzzle, likely Barry. I know Barry had a balloon jigsaw sometime around 2003. Impressive! It was 2007 before that incredible "helicopter" with rotating blades appeared. I bet Lin made that one! I am trying to remember names: Michael Compte, Dfotos, Granot, A few years later Greg Gordon came along. And the Dom. Oh, how we miss him! Many many more. Who was the cantankerous old duffer with the sailboat? I liked him. I still have some of Ronnie's PDF tutorials from 2006. Good job, Ronnie! A lot of cool people have passed by here. PTE just keeps getting better.
