  1. Thanks everyone. I'll have a go
  2. Thank you - that would be most helpful.
  3. I have searched the forum looking for what I would have thought was a basic type of template to no avail. What I would like is a style that takes the first image as a blurred background and then applies the next two portrait images on top side by side with a small gap around each one. As an extra, it might be useful if the background image stays showing a few seconds before being blurred and the two images appear. Any one seen/have something like this that perhaps I could adapt?
  4. Is version 11 available as an upgrade to 10.5 do you know?
  5. Trying to install these into PTE AV Studio v 10.5 but get error that they are either corrupt or created in a later version. Any ideas?
  6. Can someone explain to me what this options does and when should it be enabled?
  7. First it is not the expanding of the folders that's the problem -it's the depth that I have to go to. Second, nobeefstu, there is a "Documents" directory shown in the tree already which opens up "My Documents" however, under Vista the My Pictures folder is no longer in here it is under a completely different path: C:\Users\yourname\Pictures\Photos\then whatever you have created. So what I would like to do is to put a shortcut in the tree view directly to the Photos directory.
  8. Great Igor - that now works fine.
  9. An idea - The tree view current shows my drives, desktop and Documents. It would be good to either be able to add custom folders here or at least add the My Pictures directory. having to go c: Users etc. everytime is a pain!
  10. Would tend to agree. My Windows XP Pro SP3 worked first time. Vista Home Premium (unlike others here) has never produced a file.
  11. Just to test the theory, I have uninstalled 5.6 beta 2 cleaned out the registry and rebooted. Re-installed beta 2 and tried to make a short (3 images) HD video. No file was produced after about 1 minute of build time. Steve
  12. It's not size related. I am only using three images so the video is only a few seconds in length and nothing is produced anywhere
  13. Yes it's Beta 2 - I have actually uninstalled beta 1. I have rebooted as well. The title bar says beta 2
  14. Just tried it on an old laptop running windows xp pro and it works fine. So either a problem with Vista Home premium or it is expecting some other software or something I have installed causing a problem - although I don't have much installed on this machine
  15. No still not producing any video files
