Not sure what was going on, but thank you Ken...I always enjoy your comments.

I was awestruck. I probably would have chosen a different finger...but then again, I'm rather tasteless...and you obviously have class. Great video. And oh what progress we have made. Great comment on our world and all it's progress. Jeff Lunt

Hi Lin...I don't do animation, so I can't help in that area. It does just fine with video. Anyway, as far as seeing your images and including music, it works just like all PTE shows... only way more wonderful. I am just having a blast this winter season. Thanks for stopping by Lin...I hope your New Year is shaping up just fine. Lets get together this year for drinks or lunch, or something. Time is running out. Jeff

I bought an UHD Tv to use as a monitor about a month ago. The resolution is 3840x2160. The biggest complaint about UHD is the lack of media. If you are like me you have lots of media...the best kind, your own images...thousands of them. The first thing I did was order a new graphics card as it had been several years since I had updated my card. I am using a very old motherboard that I bought many years ago for a shoebox computer I built. As it turned out my old Nvidia card was just fine for the most part, but I went ahead and put in the new card...a 900 series just to make sure I could play work on PTE files without problems. Anyway, the first thing I started working on was images I shot in 2007. Guess what?...they looked wonderful and played just like always with PTE. If you have shot images in the last 9 or 10 years you probably have UHD quality images and can play with then just like always. PTE is just wonderful for the creative person who wants to see their images as best as is possible and be able to mix and match music and images and see them right now, as best as is possible. Don't wait for the big media boys to put out movies in 4k or UHD...start right now with PTE and your very own media. I bought a 40" TV and have been using it for over a month, and just love it. It reminds me of the mid 1970's when I bought Bose 901 speakers for a small fortune at the time, and then suspended them from the ceiling and played all my records and felt I was hearing them for the first time. Seeing your own images this way is exactly the same feeling...you see the blades of grass and the individual leaves on trees. I am gushing and it has been a month of playing with the new UHD definition. OK...I may be late to the party with this info...I just wanted those that are thinking about jumping into the 4k world to just get wet. My 40" monitor was very resonable, or I would have waited. Let me know what you think, or if you have questions. If you are using PTE you might as well get a 4k, or UHD monitor, or TV. You will love it. Jeff Lunt

Thanks for the F4 tip Laszlo. I will certainly try that. I have used the export video method as I use PTE video in my Blu-Ray video shows. My main thing, having been a musician, is being able to cut various places within a music file and making the soundtrack fit at least for experimental purposes. Like the image files, the main thing I love about PTE is being able to experiment freely and then see instantly how things turn out. I know real Directors put the film together and then add music, but music makes me see images in my mind and I keep changing the images and the music. Thank you very much for jumping in and helping. I loved the old version of PTE that had the option to move a slide to the front and move a slide to the end for opening segments and closing segments. I make long shows for my own entertainment and I have made video shows for 25 years and I have always worked on the opening and ending most. The middle takes care of itself. As I gradually edit a show I like to move the best slides to the front and back and move the rest of the slides in a chronological order as I usually show one week adventures and prefer order. I also do a lot of editing of soundtracks...mix and match to help the show. It would be nice if I could make cuts as I wish in the timeline...taking one music file and cutting and pasting as I go much like video editing. Now I duplicate the music file multiple times and drag the front or back of the file to the appropriate points that make sense to me...it would be much quicker to be able to just cut where I want in the timeline and then move the parts of a file that I want. Maybe all of this is there and I just don't know where to look...any help would be appreciated. Jeff

Hey Lin...just downloaded and viewed your Holiday show. You pulled out all the stops on that one. Loved the wolves and polar bears around your place. And I've never seen such beautiful angels. You must be doing something right. All the best to you ole buddy. Have a great Holiday...and let's break bread one of these days. Jeff

Hi Dave...I have an awful temper and would be glad to smack whomever is bugging you...except your partner of course. Kidding you...my way of getting through the not so pleasant times. I only drop by once in a while so I don't know what happened but you have certainly been a prominent member. Like others have said, take a rest and I'm sure we will all welcome you back. All the best to you, Jeff Lunt mber 2015 - 05:25 PM davegee, on 02 Dec 2015 - 12:23 PM, said: I would have been, I'm always keen to enter a well thought out comp'. However, having spent an hour or so thinking about the rules, IMO it wouldn't be worth the effort. Reasons 1. The main one is the track we have to use, that must be the worst rendition of Silent Night i've ever heard. 2. Next the condition that it has to be up-loaded to Slideshow Club, that really cuts down the number of possible entries. 3. Cutting out YouTube & I assume Vimeo means missing out on a lot of potential publicity for PTE. 3. Finally, I'm always dubious about unknown judges, In my opinion using the forum poll facility would have been a much better way & could involve all members even if they hadn't entered. Yachtsman1.

Thank you guys and gals. I was wondering if it was me...nice to know I'm not as dopy as I thought...or maybe I am? -
Haven't been able to see the latest shows, or any for that matter, in the last couple days. I get an Unavailable message. Is it just me or anyone else having a problem? Jeff Lunt

Thanks again Lin....I am using Win7 as I am satisfied with it. Like the old saying..."If it ain't broke" Hey, did you get to NM or are you still in Colorado? I am totally sick about the mess on the Animas River. Totally destroying so much beauty and so many lives are harmed...animal and people. Greed is killing so much. Sorry to get on the old soap box, but I love the land more than money. Jeff

Lin...it must have been something with my system or I don't have something ticked as to why the delete mp3 file and the rest move to fill the space didn't work. I do believe that is a run on sentence there, but grammar wasn't my best subject. Musicians always think art is all that matters. I have since found out that I may have been very wrong now that I need health care. Thanks for being there, Jeff

Lin and Igor...thanks for the prompt replies. Lin...it didn't work, but it doesn't matter as Igor got it for me. Thanks to both of you. The SHIFT CLICK I was confused about as in Windows I have to click the first and last files that I want to move. In PTE it is easier as you only need to click the first file and drag. Easier is always better, I just needed a little help from the pros. Thanks guys. All the best to you. Jeff

I often use 10 to 20 sound clips on a track. If I delete one near the beginning I have to drag one at a time to replace the space. Not sure I've missed something, but it would be nice if I could click and drag all the sound files in the timeline at one time, shift click the lot. Is this already there and I'm missing it? Thank You for taking a moment. Jeff Lunt

Thanks Colin...as always, you have taken the time so stop by and even post. I know it takes time, and I appreciate it. I'm very pleased you notice the music choices as that is the driving force for me. New Zealand...I didn't know...I've always wanted to visit, but health and money just won't permit that wonderful trip to happen. You have some wonderful country to explore. And say hello to your club members for me. I bet it is a real hoot and lots of fun. All the best to you, Colin Jeff Lunt

Thank you Robert. Yes, Sammy was a daredevil but she was far less daring than Buck, my first Akita. He would walk out to the edge of all cliffs and then look at me as if he was waiting for me to take his picture. I have many old videos of Buck and me shouting "Buck no!!" at the top of my lungs. I still get a laugh and a good cry when I get the old films out. Thanks again for taking time to comment. All the best to you too, Jeff

Thank you Igor. I will be in touch.

I put together a slideshow honoring one of my favorite composers, James Horner, who just died a few days ago, tragically. I chose one piece of his, one of my favorites, and one of his older, lesser known pieces. I sincerely hope my little piece honors him. My talents are limited, but his were extraordinary. Please, take a moment to grab your favorite beverage and relax and enjoy this mans talent. The show is on Slideshowclub.com

The option comes up to delete the individual shows when I mouse over as Barry stated, but I still can't get the whole page to delete. Has anyone deleted a show recently, and if so, how did you do it? Puzzled in New Mexico

I have been using this software for well over 10 years. The fact that one can put any number of high resolution images and any music track on the timeline and then press preview and instantly have a perfect look at what you have created is why this software has no equal. Rearrange the photos and or the music and press preview and again, instantly you get a full resolution show. It is so easy to experiment with pictures and sound. I highly recommend this software. Thanks Barry...I would never have found it.

I would like to delete a show or two that I've had posted for a while. How do I do this? Jeff Lunt

Wonderful, just wonderful. You have a terrific voice and that dead pan way of talking was perfect. You remind me of one of my favorite personalities...Michael Caine. Keep up the great work. Really, this was as good as anything on the tele...and I mean that as a compliment.
