  1. Hi you guys Poor brain now considerably restored to some degree of sanity. Thanks a lot. I'll "play" for a day or two and find my way round your various suggestions and options. Thanks again Al, Lin, The Dom and Tomuk. Much appreciated. Stan
  2. Hi I'm hurting my poor brain trying to animate an image inside the image of a picture frame. I've tried all sorts of ideas but conclude that there is no way to get the animated image behind the picture frame. Put me out of my frustration ple.....ase. Stan
  3. Al Thanks for that. I had hoped that this facility would be enabled again as in ver4. My Mrs will certainly appreciate not having to rush in from time to time to hit the escape key. Good health Stan Hi Mike Thanks for your suggestions. I think Al's comments answer my little problem the best way (just a little patience). Cheers Stan
  4. Hi Ken Like I say, I'm pretty severely handicapped so can't use a conventional keyboard. For writing this I use as on screen keyboard and select letters using the trackball. Stan
  5. Hi I'm finding my way round Ver5 (I love it) but something is eluding me. I can't use a conventional keyboard so escaping from a preview is impossible. Is there a way of escaping using a mouse button? Cheers Stan
  6. Hi Ralph thanks for the warm welcome. Thanks for the information re previewing the slides - I had hoped that preview would take up the sound track from the same point but presumably this is impossible??? If you have any further suggestions, they would be most welcome Sorry for the delay in reply - I have been out of commission for a few days. Many thanks Stan Hi Guido Thank you too for the warm welcome and your suggestion regarding Audacity. I have downloaded it and look forward to trying it out. Many thanks - sorry for the delay in replying, but as I said to Ralph I have been out of commision for a few days. Stan
  7. Hi you guys I'm pretty new at this slideshow presentation game, so bear with me. I've made a few nice presentations but they've been pretty laborious mainly because I like to use music tracks to accompany each photo group. Is there a way to blend one sound file into the next one? The other problem I have is finding a way to preview the slideshow from a point well into the show, it always goes to the start. Is there a way? Thanks in antisipation- stan (www.stankearey.net)
