Buttons/Ron I have just sent you both a copy of TheDom's Photo Album Template with 50 slides by email. Please respect the original copyright of TheDom's commercial agreement and only use this template for private use, if you wish to use it commercially would you please get agreement from TheDom. I have only sent you the .pte file, I tried by sending it to myself, when I double-clicked the attachment, the .pte file opened in PTE. I haven't sent you my 50 slides, same as TheDom's, a coloured slide with a picture number in the centre. Hope that it all works for you.

Hi Buttons Yes you can put more pics in than 32, I have got one running at the moment with 106 pics. What you need to do is copy and paste the last slide before the closing photo album cover. Select the pasted slide and open O&A, then select the pics, in properties import a new pic, do this for both pics and the background pics. With each pic select open the common tab and rename the pic. Continue to do this until you have done it for all 50 slides. Don't forget to change the first cover slide and insert your 50th pic. If you have trouble send me you email address and I will send you a 50 slide template.

Lin I would like to add my thanks to you for producing such a detailed tutorial of O&A. It is a key area in maximising the functions of PTE, I have struggled with getting to grips with the subject, the tutorial is very helpful. One very small comment is that it would help if the document pages were numbered.

I have been away for a few days, but before that, there did not seem to be anything happening on TheDom's Web Site. I know that he has recently moved house, but it seems that he has left the planet. There is still quite a bit of porn, particularly under members web site addresses. I hope everything is OK.

Lin Viewed your slideshow - Colorado Girl, really fine photography and effects. Particularly liked the photograph with the mountains reflected in the lake, is this how it was or is there a little PhotoShop licence being used here. Thanks for sharing, music fitted the show really well.

Ralph/Max/John Worked fine for me also, other than I was hoping that the last slide would remain on the TV screen at the end of the show, but this did not happen, the screen reverted to the Sony DVD display. But a least I have achieved most of what I was looking to achieve, thanks again Ralph for your help.

Is it possible to create a DVD in VideoBuilder without a menu, e.g. when played the show start immediately and runs to the end and stops and shows the last slide?

Hi Everyone I am just getting into PTEv5.0, I am more familiar to ProShow Producer, which had the feature to delay the start of the soundtrack. Is this possible in PTEv5.0 or do I have to place the soundtrack on to the slide where I want the soundtrack to start from?

Colin/Chris/Gareth Thank you very much for your responses, I fully understand the need to protect the artist, my need was to simply use the material for my own private use. I had tried Tunebite and other software programmes and also tried to create an audio CD but all was prevented by a failure in the Codex on my computer. In the end I had to remove Windows Media Player 11 and re-install which seems to have overcome the problem with the Codex. I have now successfully been able to create an audio CD then rip this and create an mp3 file which I can use in PTE.

jeronimo Welcome to the Forum, I believe that Version v5.0 will be the development platform. I am not sure how it works but I think that the Deluxe option provides the additional function to burn DVDs. Not sure therefore if there is two versions of v5.0, the basic 5.0 and Deluxe?

How can I use DMR Protected music downloaded from the net in my PTE slideshows, is there a legal way of converting the files for private use to MP3?

I have already email theDom telling him of the problem, he really does need to improve security or we will all be reluctant to use his fantastic site.

Lin That is fantastic, now will this rune as a DVD. What I am asking is, if I setup a few slides and save as an exe file and then using video builder create a DVD with a number of other exe files added will the process then run through the first file and call up all other files? I know that you may say, try it and find out, but I thought I would just ask the question.

Hi Lin The process worked well for me, clear definition of colour change during zoom into chimneys. I use a Radeon 9600 Series Display card with 256 MB.
