Ray When I right click on 1x1.bmp, all I get in the options window is Radom Order, I cannot copy a slide?
-
Ray Sorry, I do not understand, how do I copy and paste the 1x1.bmp to a new show?
-
Dom It is not your bad English, it is my poor explanation. Having looked at the O/A, the transition starts at the 2nd keypoint and ends at the 3rd keypoint, which means that the next image is fully in view and the first image is also still in view. The changes you suggest have helped but now the speed of movement off the screen is a little quick. I assume what I need to do is change the timings of the keypoints, giving more time between the 2nd and 3rd keypoints? What I think I would like to see is the first image leaving the screen before the transition to the next image. All in all I think that it is a great effect, thanks again for your help, keep the templates coming.

Ray I cannot copy 1x1.bmp, when I try to highlight the slide in the show line or the sub-directory nothing happens. When I right hand click, I don't get the option to 'open with', cannot understand this, can you help.

Hi Dom/Ron I have also used the new straight temple and it works fine, I am not getting any 'shimmer' when zooming in. However, one minor concern is that at the point of the transition both image are shown, which I find is a little off putting. Not sure how this can be changed!

Ray Thanks for the zipped file, how did you do that effect, with the photograph turning vertically through 360 degrees, is it a regular transition effect?
-
Ray I don't know how to do it either, but it maybe worth creating a ZIP file which may reduce the file size below 2mb and you maybe able to use it as an attachment

Hi Dom I really like the use of masks, by the way what does 'FX' mean? I have looked at the project and I just cannot understand how you get the effect to work. I am very new to PTE and I would like to know a lot more on animation, where should I look to get more information?

Dom I have just completed two slideshows using your template in double quick time, thanks. I would like to use them for 16x9 TV display, how can I change the size of the album so that is fills more of the screen. Do I need to increase the zoom above 88%?
-
Hi Dom A really nice effect, I like the fact that you can load either portrait or landscape photographs. Like Ron I think that I prefer the straight border to the concave, but thanks for allowing us to use either. Also much appreciate the option to use 16x9 wide screen display. But the effect I like most of all is that the subject is reflected in the background. How do you do that? Another success for TheDom, just keep them coming. PS You have asked us to vote, asking if we would like to continue to release templates, a most certain 'YES', you are the reason I am using PTE instead of PSP.

Ken Thanks, its good to have the complete thread.

Ray I have found the Hawk posting, did a search under members and found entry 31206 and then copied into word. It seems pretty straight forward, thanks again Ray.

Hello Ray I don't seem to be able to access the file? Is there any other route?

On the subject of Templates, I am building a reasonable number from others more creative than I, e.g. JPD, TheDom, etc. In ProShow Producer I can build a new show by using sections from other templates, can this be done with PTE?
-
Ken Thanks for the information.

Ray Funny that you should add a reply at this time, I have just viewed both Versailles and Chantilly and I do agree that they are really excellent slideshows. I noted the effect of the slices and another in Chantilly where JPD has the opening picture turn vertically through 360 degrees. Not sure how that is done, I was just about to send JPD a PM to find out. Thanks Ray, how are things in New Zealand, was last there in Wellington in 1999, great city.

Dom/Fred Thanks for looking into the problem and it will be great if you can resolve the problem. If not it will give me the excuse to upgrade to PhotoShop CS3. Thanks guys.

Ron You can now create alternative album covers, see Silvia's covers on Dom's website. I transferred my slides into the folder Alternative Covers and then copied and pasted them into the template to customise my slideshow. Regarding the template, there maybe something wrong with my PhotoShop setup, although, I have been able to run other actions without any problem. I will try it on another photograph. I enjoyed your final slideshow using the template, you were not a highway engine, by any chance? Dom Does the action work with PhotoShop CS?
-
Hello Dom Thanks for your message, I have downloaded the action and ran it in PhotoShop. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful, all I seem to get was a single pixel, pixel dimensions is 1 px by 1 px
-
Silvia I have just stumbled over your posting and saw RayC advice. Why do you want to slice the picture, what is the effect that you are creating, I am very curious!
-
Hello Dom I have just started to use the Photo Album, I have created an alternative album cover, and that works fine. However, I have noticed that the inside of the back cover is in fact a copy of the cover picture. e.g. cover.jpg. This look fine at the start of the slideshow preview but later on when the page leaves effect take effect you can see that it is the font cover. Is it possible to make the inside back cover the same as the inside of the front cover? Also I ran into some problems in PhotoShop when cutting out the various sections of my selected image. When I tried to image trim nothing happened, I selected Transparent Pixel and Trim Away - left. Was this correct?

Hi Barry I did send you a private message relating to your website posting, the question was, would you allow me to copy your text into a Word document.
-
Thanks Dom, I just did not want to miss anything.

Dom I cannot find the Photo Album template version 1.22, on the link it seems to be version 1.21? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Barry What a great idea and something that is much wanted by those who are setting out on the Digital Audio Visual journey. I for one will certainly be visiting your website, thanks for sharing.
