I'm a happily retired geologist, living with my wife, Becky, and our cats, Puddy Wuddy and Squeak, on ten wooded, boulder-strewn acres in California's central-coast foothills.

Becky writes children's books and creates slideshows, while l practice the guitar, dabble in photography, and sometimes mow the yard and trails.

I appreciate the knowledgeable, talented members of this forum and admire their slideshows.
