Hello everybody. I have upgraded to release 5.6 and I did my first av show this this release. Producing the EXE file doesn't cause any problem and the software is working perfectly. I tried to create an MPG file, the result is very bad we can notice the "moire" and the quality is unacceptable, I don't undertand why ? I produced the same kind of file few month ago with earlier release, there were no problem. I tried also to burn directly the DVD ( same result) Let me Know if I made something wrong (parameters ?) My slide show is 14 mn long. Another question : How can i open this new PTE with older release? Window XP, My best regards

Hello, I have intalled new release 5.6 and I tried to create project. I am very surprised that I can't copy slides from one project to paste into another project , I should miss someting ! because in the older version that function worked. Procedure i did : Open project 1 : select slides copy selected slides open project 2 : Paste slides ( this line of command is greyd ) Is it normal , how can I re-use the slides from project 1 ? Hello lin I am reading the forum and particularly the content of this topic is very interesting for me. I saw your demo or image distortion it is what i am serching to do. Hello, I am juste using the fantastic DOM's template to produce tu show, but i need only the cover and the 2 first flipping pages. At the second page I zoom on the page then a next slide ppears and i can work as i want on this slide. I used the begining of the template and the finishing when the cover closes the book., Just used as introduction and finishing. To can I can splite the portion of show and put it on mediafire. Hi, Hawks Thank you for you pictures of fireworks, I waited for 14 July to reply, I have soved my problem with building and fireworks. As i said the purpose was not to see the fireworks but to show the buiding under new lighting. Ken, Thank you for your fast reply, what does Hawk hunt ? Wolf or female in night club , this is a jog. I have picture of building in the night, How can i add firework onto my slide ? Have you already done that kind of slide. I know it is better to take the photos in the real conditions, too much people around and not higher point above people. Could you advice me . I have made my first show with PTE5, it is 67 Mb size , I will upload next week onto the server you can get it and, I will appreciate comments and feed back , unfortunatly the audio is in French My best regards

Hello, I am using now release 17 and I nitice that in the project I have done when modifications are made (ex. Inserting new slide , modification on slide save it . When I re open the project I notice that some slide duration are modified , and I have to Manually re change the time. To complete the explanation I setup manually for each slide the time and also the type of transition. Could you check if it is a bug or I miss to do something ? My best regards

Hello gentlemen, I am using now PTE, spending many hours to learn the software and I have suggestions : 1) - Can we in the future to have the name of the sound in the timeline mode, right now the end of each sound is pictured by a vertical red line, and when the project is long, it is difficult to see which sound is curently played à this position. 2) Actually when we play at the current slide the 1st sound starts, and we don't know the position of the sound in regards to the slide. Is it planned in the future to get this function ( may be I don't know how the software works). This software is very fantastic , and I hope you will issue the help file for the finale release showing the whole functions. My best regards Your best supporter.

Hello Fedorov, Thank you for your answer and Advice This is my first show with PTE, péviously I used Proshow gold it is easier to use for novice such as me. You have made slide show with huge number of slides, I am afraid to do this because we never know what happend, and losing the job done should be terrible. Anyway You said you make an ISO file it is same situation because the software must encode the show, for me producing an MPEG file , VOB file or Iso File it is similar situation. Do you think there is another way, because I would like to Produce some DVD for people. I will try to make an avi file which allow me to use with Ulead DVD movie factory. The software displayed the message " don't click on finish after burning I suppose during that display the software encode the show to an Avi File, and there is no "Progress bar" showing the process, this is improvement for the future. We dont know what happend ! The encoding to MPEG file took 1h 20 mn and I will let he system runng at least that time to get Avi File. Best regards

Many thank for your reply. The dvd is played on dvd player as usual mode , nochange anything in dvd palyer. I think there is no problem with the dvd player, but during the encoding the sound is not encoded. The file produced 0.mpg doesn't have soung.

Hello gentlemen, It is first time I tried to burn DVD with DVD builder, and the soudtrack is not present even in the 0.mpg and in the DVD. I have used the default parameters in the option: Audio option mpg audio :MPEG audio rate : 224 Is somebody can help me, I certainly miss something because there is probably lack of experience. the EXE produce is OK. best regards
