My father was a photographer and, when I was little, he was always trying to explain things to me. Of course, being young, I showed absolutely no interest! But, some of it must have stuck a because when I joined a camera club in Sept 2006, I found it quite easy to get my head around the holy trinity of exposure - f/stops, speed and ISO. Having a computer background, with web design and coding, also helped smooth out the learning curve.

Audio visuals are all about the successful balance between the two elements, the audio and the visuals. For me, the music comes first. I find, or the music finds me, and then I think images to go with that music. I often use film music as they can often have a distinct crescendo and many different aspects; loud/soft, fast/slow, and generally much more impactive. Syncing the beats, the crescendo to the images is IMHO absolutely crucial and every image must club competition standard.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge, skills and experience.  I hold a BA in Policy, a MSc degree in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Photography. I hold a MPAGB/AV.
