  1. Malcolm - finally managed to download your a/v and have just watched it - absolutely delightful! A really nice idea and very well executed. Well done. Maureen
  2. Malcolm - thank you for your comments. I think we just got very lucky with the weather after a couple of days of rain. I have tried several times today to download your Hardy's Cottage but for some reason my Norton is blocking it. I have had this problem before and resolved it so I will keep trying. Maureen
  3. Hello to Snapcam and many thanks for your comments. I'm very pleased you enjoyed the show. Maureen
  4. Grateful thanks to EVERYONE who has taken the trouble to comment on my latest slideshow. I am so pleased you have all enjoyed it. I certainly enjoyed creating it, especially being out and about taking the pics. Maureen
  5. Late October we spent 3 nights at Bridge of Orchy, in the Western Highlands of Scotland. Weather was a mixed bag but the autumn landscape colours were the best I have ever seen them. Images taken mainly around Glen Orchy, Glen Etive, Glencoe and Rannoch Moor. First time I have seen Rannoch Moor in decent weather which was a bonus. Slideshow available on www.beechbrook.com As always, grateful thanks to Bill Hines. Maureen
  6. Remembrance - olin - A sensitive reminder that we should NEVER forget. Thank you.

  7. Hi Colin - just been catching up on your a/vs taken during your visit to Europe, having been away myself. I wondered if you had managed to get up to our neck of the woods, eg Cumbria. From your a/vs, it seems you had some really good weather and you've certainly managed to get some cracking pictures and good material for a number of slideshows. Well done.

  8. Andrew - a superb piece of work, and very moving too. You must be very proud. Great stuff! (Surely you will send this a/v to your old Regiment?) Maureen
  9. Dear Lin So sorry to hear your very sad news. Maureen
  10. Beautifully done; one to keep. Maureen
  11. Brian - don't be upset by Xaver's comments. I was told by one of the Moderators that he has a habit of upsetting people. I thought your a/v very original and clever. Wish I could do something like that.

  12. Hi Colin - Regarding your Scottish a/v, I reckon you have done pretty well with that little camera and you certainly got some better shots than I did when we paid a visit up to Edinburgh a year last December.

Fabulous place though, eh? Despite the weather.

  13. Hi Jim Good to see another one from you on Beechbrook. Super photography and another one to save along with your Lewis and Harris show. Hope to get up there again later this year. Regards Maureen
  14. Ken - a superb show. Interesting and thought provoking. Maureen
  15. Hi Colin Very nicely put together and I'm with you on two of your goals, eg the supersonic jet and Namibia. You're certainly a guy who likes to be up in the clouds and good luck to you. I hope your dreams are realised. Maureen
  16. Bill - I noticed on another thread that someone seemed to recall that your Upload page appeared complicated. I have to say to anyone who may think of using it that if you read the instructions carefully it is very straightforward and simple to use. If I can use it so can anyone and it is an excellent showcase for PicturestoExe. Maureen
  17. Thanks, guys, for the comments. Maureen
  18. Rick - your students are sure in for a treat when you show these cracking shots. Bye the way, we saw a Humber Hawke being driven yesterday; in excellent nick, too. Remember those, or are you too young? Maureen
  19. Thanks, Andrew, but I have to be honest and say that I think it's only because I am able to get out and about and take lots of photographs. As one of my friends delights in saying to me "Ah well, when you take so many pictures you are sure to get some good 'uns." He's probably right, bless him. Maureen
  20. During the recent poor weather here, I took the opportunity to process some of the digislides I took last winter in The Lake District. These are now in a slideshow downloadable from www.beechbrook.com/pte with as always grateful thanks to Bill. Maureen
  21. Davy - as Ken said - different - but then you always come up with something different. I liked it, fantastic colours nd twinkly bits. Maureen
  22. Mark - I don't feel qualified to comment on wedding photography apart from they looked a really nice set of photographs to me. I would have been very pleased if I had taken them. Maureen
  23. Hi Colin - certainly looks a very nice place to visit and photograph. Roses certainly are a very beautiful flower and you certainly caught a variety there. Best wishes Maureen
  24. That's okay, Bill. Guess I've just got short arms and deep pockets. Best wishes Maureen
  25. Hi Bill - I seem to recall we have been here before. I'm sorry but the version of PTE I have does not permit me to create a MAC. It would cost me over 20 GBP for the pleasure. Really sorry. Maureen
