Orkney is an archipelago off the north-east coast of Scotland. We had a fairly brief stay on Mainland, the largest island including Skara Brae, a Neolithic settlement on the west coast of Mainland, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Well Gary, I did enjoy watching that, all of which is very familiar to me. Wow! What a road trip - you won't get much better than that. I was envious of your weather at Duncansby Head as we were there earlier this year on our way to Orkney and were almost blown off as the wind was so strong and the light too dismal for any decent photos. You certainly seemed to sample plenty of good old British fare judging by your plates wherever you ate. Maureen

Simple slideshow of holiday pics taken on a couple of visits to Cornwall, although I suspect there may be a couple of 'strays' from the neighbouring county of Devon.
