A fairly recent visit, Ken, but thank you. Maureen

The old town of Ronda in Andalucía, stands in a very dramatic setting on a rocky limestone outcrop straddling the El Tajo gorge. Its new bridge, the Puente Nuevo, was completed in 1793, is 98m above the gorge at its highest and narrowest point and took 42 years to build. A few hours looking around the lovely old city of Cordoba in Andalucía, southern Spain to visit its famous mosque - one of the largest in the world and in which is built a cathedral - and the Alcazar and its gardens. Res: 1920:1280 Can be downloaded from www.slideshowclub.com/pte for PC and MAC.

Thank you for comments, Jim. We were told when on Mykonos that the locals paint their houses at the start of every season. They take a great deal of pride in the appearance of their villages. It certainly shows. Maureen
