Thanks Igor, this problem is now solved. Even Slides with lots of Objects now show straight away My Laptop is Win 7, I don't have any Win 11 devices Jill

My Laptop does the same in 11 - No Objects appear when I go into O&A But if I move the mouse then they appear. I tried 10.5 & that was also slow for any Objects to appear in O&A In 9 they appeared instantly and when I went back to 10.5 that then also seemed to work quicker. With 11 they still don't appear until I move the mouse. With just a Blank Slide then the Blank appears straight away. But as soon as I add anything, even just a single Text Object & go back into O&A nothing appears until I move the Mouse. I haven't reported this before as I just thought it was my Laptop which as you know Igor does strange things sometimes. Not done much on my Desktop recently but don't recall having any problems in 11 Jill

Hi Mike For the Links to work on any PC you need to remove the Path Name & just leave the File Name in "Double Quotes" So if you are trying to run "C:\My AVs\Show1.exe" then change it to "Show1.exe" You then need to make sure that the Menu.exe (Landing Page) is in the same folder as all your shows. Did you save the download as a separate file with a different name? Also check that you are clicking on the correct Icon to run it. It may be that you are launching the old Beta version instead of RC3 RC3 just says Version 11 (4 bit) when you click on Help/About - there is no Release number shown Jill

you need to look HERE for the latest Version which is RC3 I don't think the 'Check for updates' works with the Beta Versions Jill

Thanks Igor, all created in PTE 11 with Vector Icons and a few Rectangles. It was an interesting challenge to see what I could do. It all worked well and smoothly but I did notice that once I had a lot of Objects changing the Object Name took a very long time to display the letters as I typed them. It was made on my Laptop which as you know is quite old & not that powerful. Took 5 minutes to render the video which is only 1:30 long. I was also surprised that the exe file was 33.5 mb but that may be the Music, the MP4 is only 8.7 mb. The Vector Icons create a lot of possibility. Jill

This is exactly the time when you avoid all of the effects. Less is More and the emphasis is on getting your message/Story across without the distraction of too many Transitions. Mostly the straight Dissolve, Page Wipe or Circle Transition with soft edge are used. Unless it actually adds to the Story, then the images/narrative should speak for themselves, otherwise the viewer ends up wondering what trick the maker is going to perform next rather than concentrating on the message. I also use an old Photoshop to create .PNG and don't have any problems. Add your image or video in the Slide View. Then go into Objects and Animation. Make sure that the Object is Not selected, click outside of it so it is not highlighted. Then add your .png and it should appear on top of the image/video as you want. Jill

Are you sure that you have saved it with a transparent background and that it has the file extension .png Which program are you using to create it? Jill

make sure your .png file is the top layer. In PTE11 you can simply Drag & Drop to rearrange. In earlier versions it CTRL+PgUp or CTRL+PgDwn or right click & select Order Jill

Rosy, you can't adjust any values on a Blank Slide. Also if an image has zero opacity the the Black Background would still show. As Aleina says you need to have a background below the .png file for the transparancy to show. Jill

I have just tried this in a new test project on my Laptop & it worked fine. For some reason I couldn't get it to work last night on my Desktop, most likely I was doing some wrong! Will try again next time I am on my Desktop. Thanks Jill

I thought I remembered that it was, but when I tried it only one keyframe was adjusted when I changed the value. Will have another go in a test project. Jill

It would save a lot of time if we could adjust values for several keyframes at once. E.G. I have set up some animation on an Object, but then decide I want to move it's postion on screen If we could select all the keyframes and adjust the values for say x & y Pan or x & y Zoom all in one go it would be so much easier. I know I could move the Object to be a child of a Frame & then adjust the Frame, but when it is just one Object within the Frame it seems a waste. I recently had the same 2 Objects on several Slides (Text and a rectangle) & it took a long time having to adjust each Keyframe seperately on every Slide making sure I got the values correct. Jill

I think it is only exe shows that were made with PTE 10 or 10.5 that can be viewed on a Mac The fact that the message says it is out of date suggests it was made with an earlier version. Or the show could have had a Time Limit put on it and it has now expired. Check with the sender Jill

Thanks Igor, I will have a look to see if I can find that. I have an old version of Photoshop - CS4 - which doesn't scale the drop down Menus & I may have increased it when I installed that as I couldn't read them. Will check when I am next on my desktop. Jill

If on the Zoom parameters you have unchecked the link button, then changing the X or y values will just change that parameter. If you want to do it by dragging the edges of the image, then hold down the shift key while dragging. It does work and is very easy. Jill

Igor, the problem occurs in both 10 & 10.5 as well as 11. Not sure why I haven't noticed it before, also the boxes for Values are not wide enough - see screen grab from 10.5 below I also tried PTE 9 & it occurs there, but PTE8 displays correctly I reset the Display size to 100% & rebooted to make sure it had taken effect. But the problem still occurred at 100% Jill PTE10.5 PTE8

Hi Nelson, The 2nd box doesn't show on the Text Colour Picker, only on Rectangle. Shadow & Border Jill

PS I have my Desktop Display set to 125% which may be causing the problem, but I have not noticed it before. I have just tried this on my Laptop, setting that to 125% and it displays correctly with plenty of space around the buttons. Jill
