I want to add sound to one slide. I do not mind if it carries over to the next slide or two. From what I read here http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=56716 I must tick the box to synchronize music and slides in the main tab of the project options. When I do that I get the following pop up when I begin the program. When you use "Synchronize music and slides" option, you cannot use personal playlists of slides. I have tried it with both ticked and not ticked the "don't interrupt sound comment when next slide appears". If I don't have anything ticked the sound does indeed play when the slide appears but it continues to play over and over rather than just the 20 seconds or so that the track is. I wouldn't even mind if the track was interrupted when the next slide is brought up. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious and would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks in advance. Jim

Well I figured it out. I had sized the images for the projector native resolution, I had set the laptop to the projectors native resolution. I set the projector to the normal native resolution. I missed one... in Pix to EXE the program on my laptop had defaulted I guess to a different one. Set that to 4:3 and all is well. Probably such a naive newbe thing it never occurred to anyone. Thanks for your time and help... hope this might help someone else down the line.

Thanks for the quick reply Peter. It appears as though the left say, 75 pixels are not displaying and you can see the outline of the projector where the image should be. (sort of dimly light border on the left side only) I didn't think the rgb/srgb thing should matter but the manual (if you can call it that) that came with the projector clearly says a couple of times that some things only work with rgb but I think they might just be referring to images rather than text or something... not sure. I can move the image to the left but I'm still missing that portion of the image and as I do move it I create a "border" on the right side of the display. Possible there is something wrong but it fills the frame if I zoom or use cinema. I'll keep plugging away at it and hopefully figure it out. A friend ordered the exact same projector at the same time so I plan to try it on theirs to see if it's my unit or me... probably me! I have worked my way through creating the program and am very happy with the features of Pix to EXE for sure! Thanks again, Jim

I've recently created my first program using v5.1. Looks just great on the computer. I'm sure there is a setting I'm missing and it's probably projector related and not the software but I'm at a bit of a loss right now. New projector is a Canon LV-7365. 1024x768, 3000 lumens. I have changed the resolution on my laptop to 1024x768 I have sized all images to either 1024x768 or 768x576 I've tried in both rgb and srgb if that matters The problem is that the image does not fill the screen. The left part of the image is clipped and you can see that there is space where the image should be. The setting choices are normal (supposed to fill the screen) Wide Zoom I think - NO Cimema - NO Actual Size - This one is grayed out and I can't figure out why. Anyone have any idea where I'm going wrong? Thanks in advance. Jim

You are right Peter but the first 200 or so images they will go along with talking and be advanced manually. It's only the final 50 that are to be automated with the music. I really appreciate your help here and already I've now got the ending "roughed" together and looking pretty good. I'm now toying with a few panning and zooming effects but plan to go very lightly with that anyway. What a great program and this forum is a treasure of knowledge and help. Thanks again. Jim

Thanks again Peter. What I have is a 300 image show that has about a 50 image "finale" with music. I suspect with some time with the program I could start the music with that image number 250 or whatever and then evenly space them out over the time frame of the track. There are a dozen images in the middle though that I want to have change much faster than the rest so I'm going to have some fun playing with it! Jim

Thanks for the quick reply Peter. I have done the Project Options part and none listed and looked at the sound line for each slide in the program and all are blank. Still have the error though. Then I decided to delete the final 50 images where the music had been but didn't show in the music field and deleted them and am doing them as a separate program instead and now all is well again! Must have been buried somewhere in one of those files. Thank you so much for your help.... I was pulling my hair out!!

Hi All, I'm new to the program and am putting together my first show. So far so good until I started playing around with the sound portion. I decided to remove the sound at one point and deleted the track from both the folder it was in and pointed to and deleted it from the control panal in PTX. Every time I now just try to preview the show I get an error box saying that "sound files not found" even though I have removed them from the program. There must be another place I need to do so but haven't been able to find it. I have gone into Project Options and cleared everything so no music files show there. Sorry for the basic question. Any help greatly appreciated. I'm using 5.1 Jim
