I also am not sure that "Tip of the day would work. But I agree with Abdol that something for new members needs to be done especially (for example) an updated user guide. Its ok for us that are ok with PTE but many members at our camera club need help, as Im sure many others do, help in plain easy to understand language. This great software justifies publication of a great user guide for everyone in all the languages requested. We constantly hear experienced users asking for this and that but please dont forget new users, many of them "silver surfers" who have been photographers before many of us were even born, who are now moving into digital photography for the first time and are finding that PTE is the best around only to find outdated user guides. Mark, Just beautiful, the choice of speigal im speigal is a master stroke and should dispel any thoughts of anyone wanting computer generated music for sequences. your photography is amazing and I really loved the transitions, no wonder you scored high. ralph

Mark, Black and White can say so much, it also happens to be my personal favourite. Great photography and the mood of the sequence kept my eyes glued to the screen. Great work and I wish you well with this entry. Ralph

Notice To All my Friends on the PTE Forum

Hello Lin, I and my family wish you and your wife the very best, our thoughts and prayers are with you Lin, take care all of you. Best wishes Ralph and family. -
Peter, I dont think Igor and the wnsoft team have ever claimed its the best AUDIO visual software, I find it hard to read anywhere on the home page etc that this has ever been quoted. Thos comes from some of its users. As Eric has stated, not many are replying but Im sure Igor has it in mind to develope the AUDIO side of PTE. I along with others are happy using an external AUDIO editor until Igor sees fit to expand PTE's Audio capabilities. Ralph.

I have to agree with ADB on this I also have been asked this question. I do not think it will lead to PTE becoming a Image editor in the least, and if one reads some of the recent posts, many "Advanced" users wish PTE to become an audio editor. Ralph

Noel, fifty people, fifty opinions, IMHO, I love it. I like the animation and the the photographs, the music IMHO gave the art and subject much credence. Well done and thank you for taking the time to share it with us. ralph

Superb photography and subject. Somehow it also moved me as it did Ken. I found myself glued to the screen. Extremely well put together and the choice of music a masterpiece in my opinion. Thank you so much Patrick. Ralph.

Lin, Brilliant, great entertainment, the people ask and you deliver as always. Phoenix rising from the ashes now comes to mind LOL. By the way Lin, I have just used silhouettes of michael jackson on a sequence. they look really good, its great what we can do with photoshop and png files. Im determined to use bullet holes in a future sequence, the process can be applied to many things I suppose, just a little inspiration goes a long way. thanks ralph

Hi Jill & John. I really am enjoying reading the magazine, I wish I had read them before. Its great to see so much news in print, I know I can go around the various websites but there is something more personal about reading news this way. Thanks so much for all the hard work. Ralph

I really enjoyed the quality of the photography, I think you have done a really great job, nice slant mixing the media, how much is photoshop? if indeed you have used photoshop. Nice background and frames also. ralph

Hey Lin, LOL someone was very pleased with the "ending" Great, as usual you are an inspiration and its great to see new techniques and vision. Im amazed that if we stop and think about PTE we can produce so much, brilliant. Thanks Lin Ralph

YGUY, I have also tried and I am getting the same, on my part the login name and password for you tube and wnsoft is the same so no mistake there. Not sure if its wnsoft or tube that is at fault, Igor will answer soon so hang in there. ralph

Copy slides from Project1 and paste into project2
deskjet1uk replied to shito's topic in General Discussion
Please forgive me Ken am I missing something here? I looked at "Hawk Method" and that does not seem to answer the question. I had no problem copying and pasting but Shito does, he said the option was greyed out Ken, mine isnt so he has something wrong. I did not have to go to O&A i just right clicked in the slide area etc etc and it worked, but Shito said that "paste" in his case was greyed out. Could you have another look for him please Ken. ralph -

Shito, I just did what you described and had no problem copying and pasting, I opened project then copied a slide, then went to file/open recent project/ right clicked in slide line and pasted. Im sure the guys who know about settings etc will put you right but there is a way so hang on till one of the experienced guys answer. ralph -
Hi Davy, Beautiful city with such history, even HenryVIII loved it. I like your photography, well done. Ralph

Compared to the guys who have already replied to Igors question I have little experience but the first time I needed to create an exe file on version 5.6 I did need to look twice, the new appearence threw me but now its mentioned I can see the need for it to be placed maybe at the top. But as I do not use the DVD option for myself, I have created more sequences for people who do not have computers, mainly elderly who are wanting family history put on disk so they can like Ken says, "give to family and friends" which in my eyes is equally as important as us that are in camera/photographic clubs, run a web business, etc that have a greater need for exe files. Ralph

Gerard, Having already commented on your sequence and having viewed many others recently, not only on the web but at our camera club the more your sequence stands out, it was so good to see something "Different", thats why I am back to re endorse it, I truly hope we see more from you and your camera club soon. PTE is to be used, that means all of its features in my eyes. Regards Ralph

Noel, For your first AV you should be extremely pleased with your efforts, well done. I hope it inspires you to create even more. Its great that we have Beechbrook cottage to upload to. The subject is difficult to photograph, especially having to work with the lighting that you have in some of these galleries, but the mood of the photography was very good. I was not keen on the music but thats a personal choice, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" as they say but I really enjoyed the photography, the way you captured people viewing the art was particularly good. Well done once more. Ralph

Hi Lin, Thanks for the tips you supply, all photography tips are welcomed as I think myself quite proficient at the "computer end" ie, photoshop etc but lacking at the camera end of things. Some of the sequences posted here are magnificent plainly because of the quality of the photographs, that much I have learned in the few short weeks I have been a member here. So with my new fugi in hand I intend to become a much better photographer and do PTE justice. Ralph.

Ivor, Thats great news, enjoy this fantastic program. Ralph.

I really love the photography, great photographs of such a beatiful area. Once again the quality of the photographs says everything, in my eyes your sequence is unspoilt by fancy elements, thanks for sharing ralph.
