  1. Kieron. I made this a couple of weeks ago in this subject
  2. How many audio clips are you referring to and what length would they be in total?
  3. It’s called Audio editing and Crossfade
  4. If the usability of the software was as popular among users as it’s suggested, it would still be around.
  5. Perhaps the pleasure in creating something special is the fact that we like to do it ourselves. I don’t see how you can have sophisticated software with the appeal that keeps it popular, without a learning curve to go with it. Personally, I don’t like to hand over a creative subject to a computer, but I have no problem with software that offers that automation to those who want it. However, there is something in that old saying that Jack of all trades tend to be masters of none.

  8. Try one page. Open a page from your book into Coral Paint and then an image you want to use. Try dragging the image onto the page. You may have to resize the image, but that is generally available in all image editing programs.
  9. In the 3D book video I concentrated of creating the book and pages. To get the images onto the pages, I suggested that an image editor was used. That way you get to arrange the images on each page. So, you would open page 1 of your book into an image editor like Photoshop and add the images there. Then save that page with the same name, back into your project folder. It replaces the original page, but now it has your photo content on the page. Alternatively, create your images (you would still need an image editor) at the same size as the pages and save them with the same name as the page, so the image becomes the page. This is not quite so creative as using an image editor. The fact that you need both portrait and landscape images on the pages, suggests you should be using an image editor. Do you have one and can you tell me what that is. Photoshop, Elements ?
  10. Not exactly what your looking for perhaps, but it may help
  11. Will this video help?
  12. PTE AV Studio - Themes
  13. All that you appear to want is there within this software. You just need to give yourself a little time with it. And you’ll not look back. You could select a Ken Burns style yourself from those already in the software or make one yourself in seconds. Then select the styles, (pan left, right, zoom in, zoom out etc) into a theme and you have the random animation your looking for.
  14. Mine were made with Camtasia
  15. I experienced a little of that distortion with VLC recently with a screen capture video I made. I thought it may have been a fault that had crept into the stitching of several takes. So, I re-created the video, but the distortion was the same. I tried the same video on YouTube and it was fine, so I tried the one on my PC through media player and it was OK there too. Not tried it since on VLC, so not sure if the issues are still there or not
  16. Jill. Here’s the thing. I keep it permanently on and we both appear to be able to create presentations OK. So is KFSD something vital, or DANGEROUS? No of course not. Do I think the default is set the wrong way around? Yes
  17. KFSD is Dangerous !
  18. Sad, but a great memorial.
  19. Go to Settings > Table view of File List or hit Ctrl+1
  20. A couple of observations recently while using PTE AV Studio 1. The icon that takes users to the lightbox is a tiny obscure triangle that is easily missed? There's lots of room to the left of the Slides and Timeline buttons for this option to also be applied to a button and labelled Lightbox 2. In the timeline window just to the left of the Mini player start icon is a set of drop down options and one of those is Export Soundtrack to File. Should this command be included via Project Options Audio. Who would look for that option there?
