  1. I’ve had my old 5D converted since 2014. If it came to the end of its life today, I’d locate another 5D and have that converted to replace it. I have not found Infrared to be just a 5 minute wonder, because it opens up a whole new world. In the brightest, harshest sunlight, you can take images without that contrast issue you would have with normal light photography. The conversion process also means you can choose what light blocking filter to have fitted. Mine is the strongest to block out most visible light because I was after the powerful black and white images I recall with Infrared film. A weaker visible light blocking filter will allow Infrared and visible light through and that’s how some introduce colour into their images. You can’t give second hand cameras away these days, so it’s a consideration worth making
  2. Thanks Brad, but one satisfied person out of well over 100 isn't very good.
  3. Download from Here
  4. If you open one image, or a blank into the object and animation screen, you can import multiple images there. It this what you mean?
  5. Download this Video from our Audio Visual section Here:
  6. This is a lengthy video, but if you expect to produce good video tutorials that viewers want to watch, you’re not going to achieve that in 5 minutes. All the secrets revealed to making great video tutorials, both the screen recording and production. Download Here
  7. You’re video is listed as private and cannot be viewed
  8. A good common sense answer that will work 100% of the time.
  9. I was looking at a pack of acoustic tiles recently on line. Not expensive, but not sure if what I do will continue and wondering if it is worth it. I’m really just trying to find projects while locked in the house. The Sun Danced was just a little bit different. Egg boxes? You’re really giving your age away there
  10. Madhatter Press Here: Eric Matyas Music Here: Audacity Software Here: Original The Sun Danced presentation Here: Download the video Here
  11. I should have said a new Microphone too, but no echo. https://youtu.be/TLuoi5vceOw
  12. A little reverb added that’s all

  14. It is correct. It’s Camtasia screen capture software that allows the creation of arrows and highlights. To do that in PTE AV Studio you would need an image editor to create them as a Png file so they could be applied with a transparent background. Igor posted something on this subject only a day or so ago where some of these options may be found. https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/topic/23597-windings-icons-for-your-projects/
  15. I’ll give it some thought
  16. One problem with making a video for those who don’t have the Pro version. Is deciding what image editing program to use to demonstrate how to create backgrounds. We would have to create them in software other than PTE AV Studio. Do we use Elements, Photoshop, or something else? Why not just use the PTE AV Studio option for creating an object as a graduated background in the Objects & Animation screen. I do have a lot of artwork that you can download from the page below. I believe that batch will contain a few backgrounds, but those videos may also help because they cover the subject of presentation. https://beckhamdigital.photo/cc-selections/ The presentation extras can be downloaded from the bottom of that page
  17. Here is a video from a friend of mine here in Australia who has only just started making PTE presentations and recording both inside and out.
  18. Well, I’ve been watching a couple of YouTubers over the past 12 months and they are getting some really good results outdoors and they don’t strike me as experts. I do appreciate that Recording live outdoors is a bit more difficult, but isn’t it really down to the quality of the mic.? I am sure with a different setup you can get better results than you show above, but as always it’s what amount of money are we willing to pay.
  19. Recording your voice is now much easier than it was when I started. See here. The microphones are not huge in price and are very good direct to USB and the PC The recordings don’t need much editing. I use Audacity and just edit for noise, reduction, although there isn’t much in the recordings at all. I add a bit of base, but it depends on the type of room you’re recording in. Even pro microphones can be connected to a PC easily with a small electronic unit, although I’ve not used one of those. I agree that a large block of text in an AV is a bit of a turn off
  20. JmG. No-one likes to hear their own voice that much You do get used to it after a while
  21. It sounds as though that might be a bit of overkill to double the time it takes for you to read the text, but I suppose it depends on the quantity. I’ve used scrolling text once, but I did wonder later what possessed me to do that when I could have recorded it myself and used the spoken word.
  22. Thank you
