  1. Absolutely brilliant. I loved the template too. [shimer aside] I thought it was a great presentation. Well done. Andrew
  2. Tipping my hat to ya Barry.
  3. You two are better than Morcambe and Wise.
  4. Now thats gonna be awesome...
  5. Mark, Thank you for the kind remarks and the real life view. I too walked those streets but as a young soldier armed to the teeth. Later my own son done the same. I am deeply sorry for those who were injuired or lost their lives during that time. I'm also glad to hear the murals have been replaced with new art and that things are better for everyone. I was stationed for a time in a small village called Castlederg in the local police station and later moved into Omagh and later Andersonstown. Our duty was mainly border patrol but we supported the police [b Specials] when needed. I have a picture which appeared in the local paper of me at the gate post surrounded by the local kids. I never understood why the US allowed the type of fundraising they did for years. As you say the penny finally dropped on 9/11. Thanks for the update Mark. Andrew
  6. Glad to help Mick. I just had to sort out the gallery feature of my web space.
  7. I've created an album containing the stills from this show. They are slightly smaller than the originals but they are clear and good quality. Hope you can find the time to stop bye and have a look. http://gallery.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/#home Andrew
  8. Ken, it isnt missing, I turned it off. I still cant make up my mind about KB control [whether I like it or not] In the meantime...just watch it again..... Andrew
  9. Glad you enjoyed it Mick. The driver was very co-operative and tried to get us into the best position for pictures. Many of them have changed since my day [70 - 71 - 74] and it was great to see it all again. Andrew The attachment was the very last stop, so a fond farewell from Belfast. He got a cheer from the bus tho.
  10. The Belfast Murals are wall paintings which adorn the city of Belfast. They vary in content and style but are worth a look. I went back [having served there in the 70's] on a bus tour and managed to get some shots thro the coach windows. Warning:Anyone with strong religious or political views re the situation in Northern/Southern Ireland should not view this presentation. 22.5 meg 5mins:02secs 30 slides. http://www.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/murals.htm [please download from this page which carries a final warning] Edit: 30/11/2010 - The stills from this show can be viewed here: http://gallery.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/#home
  11. If your using the Tatty Album template, all you should need to do is cover the original pages with your own images and save. However, it looks to me like the pages are slightly out of register and move when they turn. That was one of the toughest parts to get right I found. I think [and this is only my thoughts] the shadow is to pronounced [heavy] it need to be a lot lighter, reduce opacity a lot. Slow it down a bit also. I think for this type of book to work it has to have some space around it. All the album's Ive learned from have the album not filling the screen which I think works better. Hopefully some of the more exoerienced folks will be along to give a more detaied view. Andrew
  12. Maureen, this is the kind of photography I would aspire to if I could. This one will find its way into my ' Lakelandlass ' folder. I watched this with my mouth open. Andrew
  13. I visited this place just over a week ago. I was on a short trip to France with an old comrade and this was for me the highlight of the trip. I had it on here for a short time but found a fault I wanted to correct in the Flash AV but I just cant get it. [2:16 on the flash AV] I have re-done and re-done it but it comes up the same. So here's the original exe, hope you like it. I loved the visit. EXE: http://www.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/BatterieTodt.exe Flash AV: http://www.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/Batterie%20Todt.html Regards Andrew
  14. Simply stunning. I love the curved effect and will try to mirror that myself. I agree with Barry that the faces slide should have been the closing slide. I had a rumage round your web site and the work there is truly inspirational. [bookmarked] Andrew
  15. Isnt that what they do Ron? Am I doing this wrong? I converted the MP4 in the programme you recommended, and then uploaded them to my server, with the flash conversion. That means it runs from my web server...yes? OK Now I've got a headache. I've been to your site again Ron and mine behave exactly like the ones on your flash pages. I cant see what I'm doing thats different. !!!!
  16. Hi Tom, I had a look at this and downloaded the player. I love the quality of it and the flow looks great. Its going to take me a while to even begin to understand where to start... I must have used up all my brain cells years ago. I'll plug away at it and see how I get on. Thanks for pointing me to it. Andrew
  17. I know Eric, I was just having a slight poke of fun....
  18. OK I'm hooked. How do they do that? Andrew
  19. This looks complex but I assume the code would allow apple users to view the show. I also assume I would have to upload the MP4 to the web site for that to happen. The mp4 is better quality but I just dont know how to get it to run via media player which would allow everyone to see it.any ideas? Andrew
  20. Thanks Eric, the concept is entirely Barry's and I just altered it for my own imagination.I liked the music also although it wasnt liked by others, but thats fine. I'll apply what you advise ref the music details in future. Michelle Roux is my sons hero, being a chef himself. That guys a genius. "Haven't the time to compete at the moment" !!!!!!!! compete? Andrew
  21. Thanks for the advice Dave. The probelm and the whole reason I wanted to do this is because of my friends and family's reluctance to download an exe file. I reassure them on the entry page but you know what folks are like. Ideally I wanted them to play in Media player as per Barry's method but I still dont know how to do that yet. Taking your idea of a trailer...now thats a cunning idea. Use the flash as a taster for the exe..... Andrew
  22. Since all others have reported no issues Eric I think Its your local BB speed. I dont have these on Mediafire. The whole point of this is to run everything from my own web space. Andrew
  23. Mary I fixed the link all is working now and I've added a few more flash AVs. Andrew http://www.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/flashavs.htm
  24. Brian, thats my wedding album template available from my web site at http://www.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/templates.htm
  25. Brian, can you describe what it did and maybe we can get further.
