  1. I viewed a slide show [ http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file/284-images-of-australia/ ] where the transition was the page curl but the back of the page was a grey colour. I've tried this myself but cant for the life of me get it to work. I added a child to the main image in the form of a grey image and unticked the show front/back in various combinations,,,but, nnnnoooo.... I cant get it to work. If I've explained this properly can anyone help me with this. Much appreciated. Andrew
  2. I watched this at 1080 and the black lines were left and right. The quality of the playback was pretty good once the sharpness caught up after maybe 2 slides. I really liked some of the shots and some were stunners, and some were poor. Especially slide 2 or 3 I think. You have over 7 minutes here. Be a bit more selective and cut out the bad slides. My favourites were the walker in the red outfit and the red roof church. Great shots.
  3. Beautifully put together Lin.
  4. Earlier in the year, 4 old comrades were talking about how nice it would be to be at the Menin Gate on the 11th of November. We never thought we'd pull it off given that most of us are now in our 70's. However, on the 8th of Nov we loaded the car and set off for France. This is a summary of that adventure and the places we visited. Andrew. http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/category/1-slideshows/
  5. Thanks Lin. That's what I wanted.
  6. I seem to have found it in the help forum However it doesn't say how to move the wee dot by hand [ mouse ]
  7. I have a slide I want to rotate on its left hand edge. I don't want the left hand edge in the centre of the window ie -100% I remember being able to move the little dot to the left or right without moving the object [image ] Can this still be done. Andrew
  8. Thanks Ken. Great day out. Except for the prices of food and water.!!!
  9. A Kelpie is a Scottish, Mystical, rather mischievous type of fairy or demon if you like. They come out principally at night to annoy people. They often take the form of horses but can take human form, but retain their hooves. They're rather like the local kids in fact!!! A prominent Scottish Sculptor was tasked with creating a display to the Kelpies by Falkirk Council [ an area in central Scotland ] This awesome structure are the result of his labours. http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file/180-kelpies-for-pc/ 4:10 seconds with an intro text of 30 seconds [ for those of us getting on in years ] 39 slides inc credits. Soundtrack: Wind Beneath My Wings. Watch out that the Kelpies don't find their way to your house!!!!!
  10. Saturday the 28th of June saw the City of Stirling host National Armed Forces Day. The Salute was taken by HRH Princess Anne. Attended by the First Minister, The Prime Minister and Leader of HM Opposition. However AFD is about those who serve, those who have served and those who will serve. Stirling can hold its head high. It provided one of the best AFD's and displays I have ever see, and all in the shadow of Stirling Castle. Trailertrashaudiovisual is proud to present my tribute to Armed Forces Day 2014. [NB] Watch for time stamp 5:30 sec - An old Para was at the foot of the saluting base blowing kisses to Princess Anne, before doorstepping the Prime Minister. He was led away very gently by the Feds. Well done lads for not hurting him. To view the presentation, please click the link below: http://trailertrashaudiovisual.com/default.html
  11. Not long enough Barry. I was getting lost in the mood when it stopped. Love the dark colour border. Perfect for those images.
  12. Thoroughly enjoyed that Mick. I'm not a fan of voice overs but that was one of the better one's I've heard. Very interesting fact about Beckett. Most of which I didn't know. Can you clarify one point: They asked for £10 to take outside shots of the building? Was that from the sidewalks or did you have to go onto their land etc?
  13. Good stuff Eric. E. Sussex is my favourite part of Englandshire. We usually stay at the caravan club site at Battle when visiting our family who live in Heathfield and Broad Oak, just a few miles away.
  14. Excellent show Colin. The HDR quality is superb. I still have a minor crit tho. The text on the last slide [ credits ] is a bit pixelated. Maybe to big for the size of font originally used. Other than that - great work. Andrew
  15. added my 2 cents worth. http://www.nikoncafe.com/xenf/index.php?threads/slideshows-that-pan-and-zoom-over-an-image-software-suggestions.274584/
  16. I just watched your Creating slide shows video Barry. What a revelation. I see things there that will make life so much easier, and that I didn't even know existed. Thank you for putting it out there for us. Andrew.
  17. Bugger, my bargin isn't a bargin after all. I actually over paid by £2.91. That sucks for a Scotsman.
  18. I done it all through this page: Turned out quite easy. http://www.wnsoft.com/picturestoexe/buy/
  19. Yes you would assume that. Seems otherwise. My invoice reads $ 40.80 but if I paid in GBP and added VAT it would have been $ 49 USD. Not a huge saving but a bargin is a bargin, and for v8 it makes it a genuine bargin.
  20. Yes, but the UK ex rate is pretty good at the moment. Better to pay in USD than GBP, and don't forget VAT takes it up to $40.95 USD. Paying in GBP + VAT takes the cost to £ 30 GBP which converts to $49 USD at todays ex rate.
  21. Got my new key. I had to enter the long one for the old key. However, good Scotsman that I am, I noticed that paying in GBP was costing more - $49 USD inc VAT. I paid in USD and got it for the 40.48 USD inc VAT rather than $ 49 USD inc VAT if I paid in GBP!!! So all good and my upgrade is done.
  22. ok, but I still cant find the key to enter in the field to get the new one to work.
  23. Igor, where do I find the previous key? I was using beta 16 I think.
  24. Of course, " Memories don't come in chronological order ".
  25. Mark, this is very good for 2 reasons. 1] I spend some time up there as my Niece/Goddaughter lives there and her ex is the local environmental photographer Alan Campbell. He has a studio there and is widely known. 2] My brother [ her father ] used to live and work in Balmacara and I spent many happy days there also. So this was a nice trip down memory lane for me. Thank you.
