  1. Got it now Jill, using the O&A. I had to then extend the music track to get to the end in the timeline but its doing what I wanted. Once again many thanks and to the others who answered. Raymond H SOLVED
  2. Guys, I am not really concerned about the audio as I found as Jill suggested separating the sound works. However no matter what I try reducing the speed either at publication or at conversion stage the video comes out at the same length. The full 20 minute finished video takes hours to publish which I have to wait for to see the result.
  3. The friend who I made the video for remarked that they appeared to be going faster on the motorcycles than they actually were I tried to reduce the speed but it didn't seem to make any difference and I lost the sound. Jill's advice solved that but I must admit that I had given no thought to the length of the original music track and that may be where the problem is, I will try again and report.
  4. Separating the sound track seems to have worked . However it hasn't slowed the video noticeably I am expecting too much?
  5. Using version 10.5.9. I created a 20 min video using clips and added a music track for a friend. Works fine. Conversion and publish speed was 100. He thinks it appeared too fast. The images come from a helmet camera on a motorcycle road trip. I republished at a speed of 60 but there is no sound track when it completes. I did a 10sec preview which had sound but the completed video is silent. Am I missing something when I slow down the speed?
  6. Thanks for the replies. I now think that the Yeti is designed for use with plugged in headphones or speakers. It becomes the default payback once plugged in. I have plugged my external speakers into the yeti and all works well. Just a pity it is extra work when working in PTE. So I think we can mark this as Solved. Thanks again
  7. My playback is normally through an LG sound bar. Once the Yeti is plugged in the sound bar is cut off and the Yeti becomes the default. playback is then through Speakers i.e. headphones or speakers plugged into Yeti headphone jack plug. I am convinced that is my problem.
  8. I have windows. All setting seem OK. Rechecked sound tabs and what happens when Yeti is plugged in is the Yeti is the default mic but in playback the speakers change to Yeti Classic Default Device . I just realised that the sound is in the Yeti connected headphones. I'm new to this Yeti maybe it has to be used with headphones or separate speakers.
  9. SOLVED: I can record directly into PTE audio but I have to unplug my USB microphone to hear play back. (Blue Yeti mike if that matters) Is there a setting to recognise the playback?
  10. More like Poteen than beer up round there Rosemary
  11. Such a pity to miss the Giants Causeway
  12. The track was as CBR. I think that we have identified that the problem lies somewhere in making the sound track in Audition. I think we have taken this as far as we can so thanks to those who gave suggestions and we can close this. If anything comes to light relevant to PTE I will post it. Thank you
  13. AS suggested by Barry another audio track was tried and appeared to work normally. Any ideas what might be the cause.
  14. Igor, I suspect they may be using an earlier version perhaps 9. but I will pass your suggestion on, Thanks
  15. I've forwarded that suggestion and will post when I hear result.
