  1. 1 - When we use the circle shape, with the Gate Standard Transition, it is possible to change the center of this circle. Could it be possible to do the same modifications with the diamond and the rectangle transtions ? 2 - In the same spirit, could it be possible to changes the position of the Gates ? Thanks Jean-Cyprien
  2. You are right, Peter, it was our first thought. ( I'm used to clean the files of the O&A window at the end of my work.) However the suggestion of Igor is an interesting one, if you are in a hurry. So, first, it should work in the O&A editor (always). With Peter' suggestion about the parent/children behaviour. 2 - If possible, it should work in the real presentation too (preview and EXE). In that case, it'll never be possible to use the hiden image (or video) files of the EXE file, so those files are not to be included in the EXE file. Jean-Cyprien
  3. Hi Peter, Thank you Peter ! Of course your amendment would be a very useful one. I agree. Best regards Jean-Cyprien
  4. " By the way, digital video is a sequence of frames, ... and they can be played in reverse " Yes, so you can make a mp4 file (= video file), and use it as you want. But I believe it's not possible with a exe file, where the pictures are calculated at each time with certain kinds of orders.
  5. Sometimes when we work with several PTE objects - at roughly the same time - using keypoints (PRZ or opacity), we would like to be able to work only on some specific objects, and ignore the other, by not seeing them. Similarly, to compare two (or more) different ways of animation, we use several copies of the same object, with different solutions (PRZ, opacity, position of the keypoints...). But only one object must be visible. Currently it is possible - but not always - to use the box "Show front side" of the "3D parameters" window. But this window is visible only for one object at the same time. Would it be possible to have a box before the name of each object, which would allow us to hide or see this object, in the same way as it is possible to do it with the layers in Photoshop ? To hide or see every object would be very fast, and we could permanently know which are the visible (or not) objects. Thanks in advance
  6. Hi Claudio,

Even if your hexagon is not perfect (top and bottom), you can make the six faces of your prism with a perfect acuracy

  8. Thank you so much for your kind compliment, Dave, Yachtsman1, Dick, Lin, Bert, Mickp, Tom and Mary. I'm pleased you not only like the "technical" part of the show, but also the moving story of this little girl. Sorry for your tears, Mary, but perhaps you give me my best reward. Thank you.
  9. Thank you very very much for your nice words. Today (12-12-2012) I've given an AV as a present, as every year for the Advent in the French forum. You'll see Orion in the sky, to remember Etienne (and a "star" above St Joseph to remember JPD) see :
  10. Today (12-12-2012) I've given an AV as a present, as every year for the Advent in the French forum Diapositif.net. I'm pleased to give you this gift also. http://diapositif.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37098 ( It's not necessary to translate the few French/German words : you'll understand them ) 6 min 15 s 60 Mo Made with the 7.07 version Jean-Cyprien
  11. You can use a .gif file containing two pictures, the real one, and a blank one. Then in O&A window / Animation / Adjust Image and Border / Animation put the values you need.
  12. Étienne was very proud of this AV. He has worked a lot to obtain exactly what he wanted, with the beautiful pictures of Orion. He was also proud of its specially made music. This AV was a treasure he kept just for his friends. Recently, he decided to offer it on this forum (and on both french forums too). He was a little bit surprised to receive no comment… He died today, saturday the 8th septtember, a cardiac arrest. He's now with Orion, his hunter. Étienne was a dear friend, always ready to lend a hand, we all are very sorry. Jean-Cyprien
  13. A lot of new thing... to learn ! I'll need a nex PC !!!!! Thank Igor, and your team.
  14. Let's go !
  15. Yes, I understand, but in the last slide, the name is not changed, because I have previously rename the file (by Abeille). Even a space added to the name changes everything. Have you do such a change ? And as I've said before, I suspect PTE to "refuse" to change the name, sometimes, but I'm not sure why... and if this is not my doing (which one ??) !
  16. a good PTE AV is worth a length discourses ChangeTheName.zip
  17. It's the same thing as for the picture file. If you don't modify the name of the file, PTE will change the name of the file if you change it, and replace the name by the new one (even in a mask). But if previously you've modified the name of the file (in Common/Name), PTE will keep the name you have written (without doing any change). Now, I suspect that sometimes PTE don't change the file name, even if you haven't modify anything. I'm not sure.
  18. A really very nice showcase for PTE - Bravo, and thank you. The most difficult thing is to get inspiration !
  19. I've put a translation on the French forum Diapositif.net A pity !
  20. Thanks a lot for your answer, Igor !
  21. Finally, I think there is some trouble with PTE itself. With my first computer under WINDOWS XP there is no problem at all. But with my second computer under WINDOWS 7, the AV stops doing anything (not only with me : always when we are seeing 5:48 ), and PteViewer5.exe closes. (even with filenames without "," ) Probably a bug of PTE ?
  22. Hi Ricardo, Perhaps the trouble is due to a bad filename (with a " , " inside : 14, rue.png). Try to change the names of your pictures. Regards Le problème provient peut-être d'un mauvais nom de fichier (avec une virgule : 14, rue.png). Essaie de changer le nom des images. Jean-Cyprien
  23. I'll study your problem after Easter, but it'll be better to ask your questions on a French forum, for example : http://www.diaporamaforum.com/forums/ or http://diapositif.net/forum/ Jean-Cyprien Je regarderai ton problème après Päques (pas le temps avant), mais ce serait mieux que tu poses ta question sur un forum français.
  24. Thank you Xaver, but I think that your hint is MORE interesting than mine. I've made different tests with an external mask as you've said, with interesting results. With only a white - rectangular - part : with jpeg, or png8 or png24 : BAD aliasing. With a black part behind the white part : with jpeg, png8 or png24 : GOOD ! With a transparent part behind the white part : png8 or png24 : GOOD ! (The results with a non-rectangular white part are not so simple) Thank you Igor for your clarification. Best regards to all of you, Jean-Cyprien
  25. Hi Lin, I've tried to rotate the picture inside the container, not to rotate the container. To have the same movement as those of Xaver, the mask itselk has to rotate too, of course. The result is the same : bad aliasing. CRT vs LCD perhaps you've something there ? See my crop "screen" to see the difference with and without the mask. (But now it's the bed'time ! ) Best regards, Jean-Cyprien Jaggies3.pt.zip
