  1. It'll be wunderful ! Thanks again
  2. Nice tool, thank you Igor. What about the shimmering, for exemple with the buildung when it is moving through the screen ? Not too bad ??
  3. Il y a au moins deux forum français qui pourraient t'aider : http://diapositif.net/forum/ http://www.diaporamaforum.com/forums/ D'où vient ce CD ?
  4. I suppose you've used frames so you can copy the frames (CTRL V) (one or more : you can choice with CTRL) and paste it (them) in a new prepared view (CTRL V) This new view need to have the same duration (you can change it afterwards)
  5. Bravo, Mickp I appreciate ! Fine box, yes, and interesting 3D movements. PTE is now able to move the objects in the space to create moving camera effects very easily. I know you have seen my Christmas present. Thanks again for your comment. (sorry for your bad pictures. Why have you not corrected the red eyes, for exemple ?)
  6. As Peter says, you can put the logo file at the top or the bottom of the O&A windows You can also try to put the logo file as a background picture (for each view !). The logo'll be behind the pictures of the view. If you put it as a logo via Project options / advanced, the logo'll be before the view PS No problem for my to see to logo (put in Project Options / advanced ) in a mp4 file. You've certainly missed something, but I don't know what.
  7. Thank you, Bernard, to share these beautiful pictures with us. I love the sail-boat of course, but the streets also are very interesting. And we want the enter in the so nice shops !!! Bravo.
  8. BRA-VO Igor, BRA-VO More better to have a good product for a demonstration. And don't mind my comment about the right version (on the French forum). There is a french proverb saying "Toute peine mérite salaire" "The labourer is worthy of his hire" I think. It's not possible to live on love alone ("Vivre d'amour et d'eau fraîche"). Congratulations once more Igor, and your team.
  9. Well done Igor, nice fluidity, Bravo
  10. The PTE User's Guide says "Up to 20,000 slides" I've tried (for the fun of course) somethings like that, with very "light" pictures. You know, if the duration of each one is just 40 ms, it's exactely like a video, of only 13 min 20s !! No problem, and easy for studying the movements Jean-Cyprien If you run the pte software, it takes the pictures of the two slides which are to be shown. So, just 3 views in memory. But the complete .exe is downloaded in memory (I think, not sure).
  11. Thank you Bert for your kind comment. Yes it is possible today to buy replica of zoetrope, toupie, praxinoscope, small or big. See for example : http://www.heeza.fr/categories.php?lang=2&path=13&num=96&action=e Thank you Bernard, I like doing such things ! Happy new year to you too, and your families, Daniel, and thank you for your appreciation. Magic, Andrew ? Yes, PTE is magic, we can do everything with it. Thanks to Igor and his team ! It was Huygens, Plateau, Horner, and specially E Reynaud with his praxinoscope who have got creative, imaginative brain ! Wonderful thing but just before the cinematographe ! "Wondering do we need PTE 7 !" Yes, the files are far smaller ! "Seasonal greetings to your group." Thank you Roger. Happy New Year to you and all your families too.
  12. Thank you very much, Lin, for your so kind appreciation, and thank you for your good wishes to the members of Diapositif (I'll pass on them). With my Very Best Wishes for the New Year ! It's difficult to appreciate the strength of the Frame, Parent/Child, Mask, 3D space of PTE, and to imagine a limit for the creativity using them. Thank you, LumenLux, and may the blessings of Christmas continue through the year for you too. ken " you must have covered all the features". Certainly not ! There is a lot more we can do with PTE ! We have just to imagine them. PTE'll do it. Thank you, ken. I'm pleased to offer you such a present, thank you Mickp. "How in the heck did you do that ??" It's just easy for me, and I like it !! Kindergarten is a wonderful place, but I'm too old now ! A pity, certainly. Thank you, Gary !
  13. Here is my Christmas present. Each day of last December, a member of the French forum Diapositif.net has offered a present - as for each day of an Advent Calendar. It was my turn the 24th December (the last day before Christmas). All the sweet were already eaten (!!), and I thought of the first "movies" and this, before the future PTE V7 with the video capabilities. At the end of my contribution are the different contributors of the several calendar's days, with "JPD" the man who has created the forum, and died last March. I begin the AV saying I have had no idea for a Calendar (!!), but have asked the Santa Claus ("Père Noël") to open the gifts he has reserved for the contributors ! He answers me OK, but only for 12 gifts. The right title is " Little history of movies before PTE V7 " Here is the link. It's a heavy file, and a great job for the PC, so close all the big softwares and PTE too. Use the keyboard if necessary (I wanted a short AV !). http://www.mediafire.com/file/dgo1jp420chkh3x/Avent_24_12_2010_PC.zip I wish you, and your families a Happy New Year.
  14. Thank you Lin, for this beautiful Card.
  15. Wonderfull pictures, beautiful "diamonds", specially those in the end, with the macro pictures. Great stereoscopy : not too much, but enough, and a very important care to adjust the two colored pictures > AV very pleasant to admire. Pleasant music too. A great show, thank you Bernard.
  16. Bravo, Herhey, very well done !
  17. For breaking down a video clips I'm using (rarely) SUPER_C (freeware)
  18. You want to do video ? To ways possible : - First method - Put 30 pictures in one slide of 1 second (in O&A window). All at Opacity 0% The first one will be the first to be put, and the file will be at the botton of the pile at time 0ms, put the opacity of the firts picture to 100% at time 33ms, put the opacity of the picture 2 à 100% (and the opacity of the first one at 0% - but this is not necessary) at time 66ms, put the opacity of the picture 3 à 100% (and the opacity of the picture 2 at 0% - but this is not necessary) etc Second slide : idem with 30 new pictures... You could paste this first slide, and change the name of the pictures - Second method - Put one picture per slide of 33 ms of duration Use small picture files (about 50ko is possible) But Igor is working to do it easier !!!!! I think it is also possible to use 30 pictures in one big jpg picture and use the new possibility of PTE. But it is a hard work to do this picture with higt accuracy Good luck !
  19. Hi ryt, Perhaps it's not necessary to rename each of your pictures : I think the following procedure is possible : Put all the pictures, music... and .pte files in a same new folder. When opening this .pte file, if PTE doesn't find the older path, it will look in its own new folder, and than refound the pictures, sound... You have just to rename the .pte file if you want.
  20. quite funny, but curious flight path
  21. Nice pictures and a lot of good ideas !
  22. I've no problem too. It's also possible to copy all the objet of a A&O window to a A&O window of another project, but the two views are to have the same caractéristics (duration specially). The advantage is that you can have the two projects open permanently. Jean-Cyprien
  23. Thank you Peter ! A lot of work for the team !
  24. Thank you, Desert Dave, for all you've done to collect the pictures, and to put them in such a nice Celebration. May it be a balm for the heart of Lin !
  25. Hi Peter I've tried to put video (just video) on PTE. On Project option : time interval for new slide : 40 ms All my pictures are in one repertory, and after having selected all of them, I've put all these pictures in PTE. All it needs is that your pictures are light enough for your computer for a good fluidity. In fact those pictures came from YouTube : so they were of 23 ko each, and small in dimension (384x288 pixels). My purpose was not to have a continous loop, but to examine picture by picture (if necessary) the video (perhaps other softwares are able to do that : I don't know). Remember PTE could have 20000 views : at the rate of 25 fps it means more than 13 minutes. After that you can put it in loop. Of course the virtual size of slides is to be small… (I'm not able to do - easily - a window on the slide to put the video inside. In that case, I think you have to put 25 pictures on each view). Does it help you ?
