  1. HI Lin, I think it is already possible to do what you mean by using the chroma keys. See for example the videos :
  2. Hi MUR, Don't imagine such things, MUR, sometimes we can't remember what we were using 50 times per day, some years ago. Don't worry ! What you do is still always amazing ! Jean-Cyprien
  3. Hi MUR, In O&A of course, button "Tools" and Key Frame Width and also Settings/Preferences/Editor Key Frames
  4. A 3.8 Gb file (without video files) successfully tested by Jean-Jacques (JJB)
  5. Hi Igor, This new version is OK for me. (And the behaviour of the indexes is correct too). Thanks, and have a good Week End !
  6. HI Igor, YES, it works as " I " expect ! That is also, as PTE8 worked, and - as you have noted - as the first versions of PTE9 worked (for exemple 9.0.5) Thanks very much ! (A lot of time saved for me !)
  7. Importance of original indexes : In the frame N°1 I have several files with the index X (for exemple the right pages of a book) In the frame N°2 I have also several files with the same index X (the left sides of the book) And also in other frames (a page moving from the right side to left side...) the same files with the index X Of course, after coying the files in a new slide, it is possible to change the files of index 1 (previously X) then those of index 2 (previously X) then 3 (previously X) with the same file (blue page, or white page, or...) but by laziness, it's easier to do this just one time with just one index : the original X index. Note that if I copy several files with the same index X, all those files will have the same new index, 7 for exemple -- BUT only for the files that were copied in just one time. If I copy later other files with the previous X index, their new index will not be the same 7, but an other one (not used previously in the new view). Because it is possible to change a file for all those which have the same index number. And this is a great possibility I use frequently !
  8. No, what I do is this : for exemple I put in a frame six pictures, with the following indexes : 1 5 7 14 17 25 (Those numbers because I have a lot of other Main objects in this slide.) After copying the frame in a blank slide, the indexes become 6 5 4 3 2 1
  9. Hi Igor, There is now indexes, yes, but not the original ones. (The new indexes are 1 2 3 4 5...)
  10. Hi Igor, Don't apologize for this very small problem, you have done so much to improve the O&A window, terribly easier to use ! Thanks so much !
  11. Hi, In a view, I have pictures with Main object indexes. If I copy and paste the (entire) view the index are kept. But if I copy the files (of the pictures, or of the frame containing picture's files) and paste them in an other view, the indexes are lost. They were kept with PTE 8. PTE 9.0.11 Windows 7 Thanks
  12. HI Barry, Yes, I've the same effect (also Windows 7 and PTE 9.011) It occurs when all the lines are not visible in the text box : no problem (for me) with 2 3 or 4 lines, but with 5 lines, or more, the first line becomes invisible. Then if I place the cursor on the first line - not only at the start of the line - the cursor will jump below. It is th,e same thing for all the lines that are invisible (above the text box), not only the first line, when a lot of lines is used.
  13. You're welcome, Sybalan. We all like PTE very much. In France we have the same word "aimer" to say "to like" or "to love". And it is said that when one loves (or likes !) , one doesn't count ! Regards
  14. Thank you very much to you too, Igor !
  15. Hi Igor Same thing for yvan : no error message. Here is his Fontlog file Thanks FontTest9_yvan.zip
  16. Hi Igor, Here is the Fontlog file of yvan Good luck, and thanks FontTest8_yvan.zip
  17. Hi Igor, We quite understand the necessity to find the exact reason of the error message. No problem ! Yvan has tried your test7 : After a double click on the exe file, he got the window with "Font list" A click on Font list, and he got the (usual, it seems) error message. BUT there is no creation of the fontlog.txt file !? We hope chanfi will be able to run the test too (he was absent these last days).
  18. Hi Lin, I am very pleased to find you here. I think it is by imagining impossible things that progress is sometimes made. I am not strong enough in computer science to justify the possibility - or not - to let the video stop by stopping the progression of the slides. Simply we see that this is not possible. But by desynchronizing the sound (Project options / Advanced / Synchronize soundtrack and slides) it is now possible to stop the progression of the slides without stopping the progress of the sound. Cann't we imagine that we will be able one day to do the same with the video track? (A video track that it would not be necessary to copy for each slide ?) Best regards
  19. Hi Igor, Here is the result for test6 from yvan, made with PTE 9.0.11beta. Is it necessary to use the last 9.0.11 ? There is still error messages, but with less messages Fontest6-yvan.zip
  20. Here is the answer of yvan for the new test : The error message is still there FontTest5bis_yvan.zip
  21. i Igor, Here is the answer of yvan for the test N°5. Alas (but perhaps it's normal ?), yvan gets the error message "Frame engin exception" again.
  22. Hi Igor, Here is the answer of yvan. With the new test, yvan gets the error message again. fonttest4_yvan.zip
  23. Hi Igor, Here is the answer of yvan Thanks FontTest3-Yvan.zip
  24. Hi Igor, Now, deleting the FNTCACHE;DAT file is not enough ! After the restart of the computer, the problem occur again. Here is the result of your FontTest1 (from Yvan and from chanfi) Thanks in advance Igor_yvan.zip fontlog-chanfi22.zip
  25. Hi Igor, Thank you for your research and your proposal. At the same time it seems the solution was found by DenisB by deleting the file FNTCACHE.DAT (in C:\Windows\System32 ) Jean-Cyprien
