Thank you, all three. My problem is solved, what a good thing forums (or is it fora?) are. Is it possible to move, say 3 slides at a time?

I am using PTE6.5 in Win7/64 and everything is working well. In sliding pictures left and right to rearrange the order there are about 12 images at the bottom which are easy to rearrange within the group of 12, but how do I slide an image 24 positions to the left or right? Cut and paste do not work, and when I drag, it just stops at the edge.

What is the best way to produce a manual slide show? I now select 30 sec. in Options, as no slide will stay that long, and advance by R-clicking the mouse. Is there a manual option somewhere?

I really like PicToExe and have two questions: 1) I make many slide shows with some 200 slides, moving them to the list at the bottom as I go. At the top, they are in alphabetical order, date order, etc i e an order that has nothing to do with the show. How does one keep track of which pictures have been moved to the list at the bottom? I also dont want to repeat any, and find it difficult to keep track. Often, when I get through and count, I have only 190 in the list at the bottom. Which 10 need adding? 2) Also, dragging a single slide forward or backwards in the list is easy, but not if you go beyond the dozen or so that show, dragging over some 50+ positions. To drag from the end to the beginning of 200 slides is a lot of work. Is there another method, like cut or copy and paste?
