It works now. The problem was that I imported from PTE 6.0 and there was a project up in 6.0 with some pictures which had been moved out of the folder in which PTE was looking for. When I canceled the import it opened fine. So your advise #2 worked Igor, thanks. Christian

Hi, Today I tried to install PTE 6.5.4 on my Windows XP Pro machine. I was running PTE 5.5 and then 6.0 (DeLuxe) before. The installation seemed to go OK but I can't launch it, nothing happens when clicking on the Desktop icon or even when clicking on PictureToExe.exe in the Programs folder. Any idea what the reason could be? PTE 6.0 or 5.5 still run fine. Christian
