  1. Thank you all for the fast replies. It was indeed a "color space" mismatch. With my new computer I started to use "ProPhoto" color space and 16 bits, and when I converted the Tiff's to jpegs via "Faststone Photo Resizer", it stayed in that color space. Now all the jpeg's are back in sRGb and everything looks fine. Thanks to the members on this forum who are exceptional help full. Regards, Bert
  2. The Attachment of the image without the color cast did not work, I have put it also in Dropbox, see: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/12297675/Bert_110803_0013_0_1_2.jpg Bert
  3. I started a new project. I have put all the jpeg files that I want to use in a folder. When I open this folder in PTE 7 or PTE 7.5, the images have changed color, mostly everything looks blue. If I open that same folder in any other program, the color is normal. I have put a EXE folder of my PTE project in dropbox, see: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/12297675/Old%20Factory.exe so you can see what is going on with the colors. Attached is the image as it looks (not opened in PTE) Other (older) projects open fine with no color cast in PTE. I downloaded PTE 7.5 today to see if it showed also the color cast and it does. I have since a month a new computer, and this is the first time that I start to use PTE on that computer. I have no problems with any of the other programs I downloaded again like, (Adobe PS5, Adobe Lightroom 4, or Nikon NX2) they all work fine. Windows 7 home premium. 8 GB Ram. Does anybody has a solution. Thanks, Bert
  4. Thanks for showing us this masterpiece of beautiful landscapes and perfect music. Great "third" images also. Bert
  5. Hi Lin, Stunning detail, it played beautifull on my brand new PC with 8 GB ram, and 1024 MG video card. One image of the fury litle dog, had a tiny ripple effect during the panning/zooming. How big was that image? Thanks for showing, Bert
  6. Joy, If you sign up for dropbox, you can link your friend and put PTE,s EXE shows and MP4 shows in his dropbox file. My friends and I do this all the time and it works great. regards, Bert
  7. I completely agree, and support Gary's sugestion. Bert
  8. Hi Snapcam, It is nice to see an interesting subject getting the attention you gave it with your images. Lots of interesting angels, shapes, colors and detail made for a beautiful show. The music fitted also perfect. Thanks for showing. Bert
  9. Hi Ken, I was thinking the same when I was making the show, about this being a show that would be perfect for video clips. I just bought a camera that can do video also, so maybe next time. What I understand from this forum, it is another steep learning curve Thanks for watching. Bert
  10. Hi Antony, Thanks for your comments, my intent was to make a fast moving show of a very fast moving event. glad you liked it. Bert
  11. Hi Morturn, Thanks for your comments, I did a lot of the transitions, (fast zoom, a little 3D etc.) because, I thought the images needed to be less static on the screen to get a feel for the action. It's always hard to know what is right and what is too much. Thanks, Bert
  12. Hi Lin, I was hoping a “Real Westerner” would see it an comment. As a transplanted “Dutchman” living in the East, this was the first time I saw an event like this, and it was very entertaining. I think I saw only one older rider out there and can see why you stopped riding yourself. Thanks for your comments. Bert
  13. Last year, I went to a one time a year Rodeo event near us. I have tried to capture the movements and excitement of this spectacle in this show. Camera D300, 80-400mm lens. 1920 X 1200, 54.7mb and length is 3 Min. Comments are always welcome as it helps me to make better shows in the future. http://beechbrook.com/pte/ Bill Hines, thank you for hosting. Bert
  14. Hi Mike, I think you made a beautiful show with the pictures and music enhancing each other. Others have commented already about the use of the cuckoo, I did not mind it the first two appearances. The images you showed remind me a lot of the country side where I live in North West Connecticut. But that is I think why they call this area "New England" Thanks for showing. Bert
  15. Peter, Great show of a fascinating subject, good pictures off what must have been difficult lighting conditions. Thanks, Bert
  16. For me the best show is "Jazz Dumoustier Stompers" by Jean Charles Pizolatto. A superb use of all the possibilities in PTE (specially layers) and some fine music. Bottom of page 9 on Beechbrook. Bert
  17. I read in the rules that it had to be entered before April 8 Bert
  18. This is a great imaginative show. Bert
  19. Hi Jan, This was very funny. For everybody who doesn't know Finnish and saw your original one, take another look at this show now with the translation. Thanks for showing, Bert
  20. That did the trick Lin, thanks for your help. Regards, Bert
  21. Hi Dave and Lin, I like to remove them because when I have a lot of images in the slide list, the thumbnails are very small and the AB and time display takes up 1/3 of the image. I could not find a way to enlarge the thumbnails in the slide list. Maybe if you can point me to that, the time display will not take up so much of the image. Thanks to you and Lin for the quick answers. regards, Bert
  22. Hi, I just migrated from EXE 6.5 to 7.0. In the slide list and the lightbox, I see now al these AB times and also the duration times in the thumbnails of the slides. I looked al over EXE, to get those time indicators removed, but could not find it. Please tell me how to do that. Thanks, Bert
  23. Hi Judy, A very nice show and I like the subject. I have some critical comments if I may. I think the show is too long and the pictures are uneven in quality and interest. I think you can make the show shorter and more interesting, by taking out duplicates and the lesser interesting images. I wish I had known what they were singing about, maybe than I could appreciate the music more. I think you have a great show when you tighten it up more. Thanks for posting it. Bert
  24. Gérard, I went thru the 6 images a couple of times and on my 24 inch computer screen I could not see a difference. If I had to pick the one that was not reduced I would say number 3. Maybe if I saw them on my 42 Inch LCD TV, it would be different. I make my jpeg's for PTE from my Tiff images with "FastStone Photo Resizer" on setting 80. Bert
  25. David, One very nice show I saw some time ago was made using DigiDaub, it is called "Symmetry" and might still be on Beechbrook. Bert
