  1. Hi Barry. 1920*1080
  2. Thank you Peter ! In the frnench version, we found Fichier...Albums...Créer un Album à partir de ce diaporama to save the template and then Fichier...Albums...Gérer les albums. I was looking for something like : Fichier : modèles de projet and Fichier...Projets...Gérer les modèles de projet. The french translation "Album" is a good concept, but unfortunately we loose the "Template" concept. Thank you again, Peter !
  3. Helo, Peter. I am sorry, but I don't find any menu with the option "create a template from the show", neither the option "set as default". Could you be so kind to explain me how to find these commands ?
  4. The second main thing to do is to group all object controls in only two windows. One window for fixed parameters : A second window for dynamic parameters, witch can be modified for each Keypoint : Notice that I indicated the unit used for each parameter. These two images are part of a tutorial for french users. The best way to organize these two windows is certainly an interface similar to the one of Lightroom, or Nikon View NX2 (free software from Nikon). Today, the most confusing point is about the pop-up windows of 3D Parameters. Ther is a mix of fixed and dynamic parameters, and the Z rotation is missing, as it is located in the "Animation" tab.
  5. In my opinion, the first thing to do to make the O&A windows much eausy to understand, is to include a SCREEN object in top of the object tree. This is the way PTE is build. PTE is a true Object Oriented Software. All objects are organized acording to the Parent-child structure. There should be a SCREEN object automatically incuded in the object tree. This object must not be removable. This will make clear for everybody what Size and Position of each object are standing for.
  6. In the french version, the translation is "cover format". This fonction is linked to the parent object, and if this parent object is generaly the screen, this is not always the case, and it is very important to understand that many values in different controls refer to the parent object, and not to the screen. Even size and zoom, are expressed according to the size of the parent object, wich is not always the screen. As shown in the attached image, it will be non-sense to write "cover screen" when what we get is "cover parent object". This is why "cover format" is certainly the most convenient label, and it is very important to understand the parent-child structure of PTE, and to keep in mind that different values attached to any object are always expressed according to its parent, which is not always the screen. I attach a second image (infortunely in french) to show the structure of PTE objects.
  7. Hi, Igor. I make synchronized slide shows with PTE, but I make also simple slide shows "à la Powerpoint" for lectures. In this case, I use the keyboard or the mouse to navigate through the slides, and it is just fine. Sometimes, during this lectures, I need to present a large document in witch I want to pan and zoom on demand. This is not possible with PTE to-day, and I have to open a different image browser to do so. It would be nice to get a toolbar witch would be activated only when the slide show is temporary on hold. PTE is mainly designed for automated musical slide shows, but it is also widely used like a manual slide show for lectures, and I am convinced this capability would be broadly appreciated.
  8. I got a problem with beta 3 and transition durations. I put 4 images to show it. On the fist image, you notice the transition duration : 1.075s. The second image shows the window obtained when clicking on "configuration". You notice that the duration is already false : it is 1.75 instead of 1.075 I change the transition effect, and of corse the duration continues to be wrong. On the forth image, you notice that now the transition duration is greater than the slide duration. I am very confuse, because this bug was certainly introduced when you fulfill my request to be able to modify durations with the mouse roll !
  9. Jean-Cyprien, it sounds logical not to move the remaining slides in synchronized mode.

  11. Great ! It would be perfect for me, and very useful ! Thank you so much to take it in account so rapidly !
  12. Congratulation for this new version ! The fluidity is absolutely amazing, even when we combine a large pan in the main view with a rotating movement on the incrusted video ! Thank you very much ! I also greatly appreciate the new main window interface. It's very useful for me to see each slide duration and to be able to directly modify it. I particularly appreciate to be able to add or subtract entire seconds just using the keyboard arrow keys. I would take the opportunity to make a suggestion. Could you add the possibility to modify the slide duration just using the mouse wheel ? For me the unit in second is enough, but may-be some people would like to have the possibility to adjust it in milliseconds or other units, witch may be possible using a combination of key plus mouse wheel, something like : Mouse wheel alone : unit = 1s Shift + mouse wheel : unit = 0.1s Ctrl + mouse wheel : unit = 0.01s Alt + mouse wheel : unit = 0.001s Of course, this is not a major requirement, and not a high priority, and I can survive without it ! Thank you again for all the great job you did !
  13. Thank you Igor for this new interface. The display of slide duration and transition duration will be very useful. Please, dont forget that we need also a direct access to the "Full screen view of slide list". I am continuously switching between these two windows, as most of my shows are not synchronized with music and run manually. Maybe an extra tab switch ?
