Bonjour Daniel, I don't know exactly how many photos I used neither how many views there are but it's more than 400. My first idea was to make 2 slideshows between 10 and 12 minutes each, but after testing them I decide to change and to make something different, with a menu and seven slideshows between 4 and 8 minutes each, I think it's easier to see.

Bonjour Isabel, I used 4 years ago a tool which made Wave file with compression, and I succeeded to open these files with other tools which where unable to read other format as Wav. I haven't to day this tool because it doesn't do better than ogg or mp3 and is not really a standard file. I just keep a wav file that I used in one of my shows. It is 2908 Kb for 7' 05" length (compression rate = 12/1). Probably your camera use such a file NB I you want I can send you the wave file.

Bonjour Guido, Thank you for "exception to the rule" and "compliments". I have work on 3 slideshows during the last months to see all we can do with PTE, and we can do many, many things. Of course I also found many problems, often with a solution, and I have put several requests, but I'll send you in french (it's easier for me) all the problems I found and the requests. Bonjour Igor Before asking anything, I made some shows in order to know what would be interesting, and I have now these requests : 1 - Possibility to have several slideshows in the same exe file, but with only one the PTE's motor inside and the capability to read the same picture and sound file by different slideshows inside the exe file. Each slideshows could be abble to use the objects functions "Run application and exit", "Run application or open file…", the slide function "Run external application" and the Project option "Run application after last slide" to launch the other slideshows inside the exe file (the slideshows beeing call by a name inside the exe file) 2 - Possibility to have another windowed slideshow as object, running inside the first one. 3 - When the processor doesn't work, precalculate the following images and store them in the memory so that they are available for a very fast posting 4 - Possibility to define a zone where the transition would apply. Perhaps that this zone could be other thing that a rectangle 5 - Everywhere (Image, object, Tiled image and customize logo) Possibility of choosing a transparent issued color for BMP files ("Transparent color" option) 6 - Project Options / Screen / Tiled image : As for the "Customize logo" possibility to put a gif file with transparent option in order to see the desktop where the picture is transparent So you could see, for instance, another PTE Slideshow. Possibility also to start from left, right, center…. As customize logo, but with a "Repeat or not" function NB If center is chosen, if repeat is not select, the picture is centered, if not, it's four pictures (2 x 2) who are centered 7 - In not synchronized mode, possibility of prohibiting the access to the keys of the keyboard, except the key escape. 8 - In not synchronized mode, possibility to select an option "Infinite duration" in the "Display slide for (sec)" function 9 - For object, in the properties menu, for the action "Go to slide number…", possibility to index automatically the number of the slide, with a $ for instance or a name if it's possible to give a name to a slide. 10 - For object, in the properties menu, possibility to display a shadow for transparent picture (gif or BMP if you include a "Transparent color" option) with option "All the picture" or "Opaque part only" 11 - For "Text" object, in the properties menu, possibility to display a shadow like others objects. 12 - Possibility to use slides after the last one on the time line as non synchronised slide show without the use of background music (an exemple of what I mean is here), in order to put some informations at the end of a slideshow. JRR : First excuse my bad english , and I am not sure to understand all what you write, but I try to answer the best I can : As it may take a long time on an old PC, when you launch Corse V2, it installs the files in a directory, it's the reason for which there is an uninstall tool. I did them, each after the other, without instructions, with Paintshop Pro V6, it's a long time to do them. I use the "Copyright logo" function to put the main frame. All the slides are made with objets (as for my other shows) I am not sure to understand what you mean, but for these shows about Corisica, I used for 6 of them Corsican's songs. For my others slideshows, I generally use classic music. (and sometimes Nana Mouskouri's songs) There aren't 7 PTE files to do this show but 21 plus a Granot's utility, so there are 22 files to do it. One of god way is to use a tool as Winrar, but there are some problems with it when using the temporary file function, it the reason for which this show is "installed" and can be uninstall. Nota : sometimes there are 3 PTE files running at the same time, but it works correctly on an old PC with a 466 Mhz clock. It the reason for wich I used Winrar, I did another version with another tool wich do the same thing by another way.

Hi, Here is my last presentation Corsica which include 7 slideshows. There are 2 exe files in the same zip file, the first one "Corse 2005" contains some informations about Corsica and the trip I did, there is also a menu to install, launch or uninstall the second one "Corse V2". I did a trip in the north of the french island Corsica and made 7 little shows you can see from a menu, you can also see them both, as a big slideshow if you want. Here is the answer I did to somebody who asked me how I did : For Vezelay, I did a normal synchronized show. When it was finish, I create several slides but without putting them on the time-line. On each slide I put one or several objects using the function "Go to the slide number..." in order to reach the differents slides. The problem was that when changing of slides, the sound, which continue become very bad, so I change the sound file by a blank file in order the show stay synchonized and I put the real file sound as music one the first slide. It's to do in the same PTE exe file a synchronized show and to have several pages at the end. Generally it's possible with a non synchronized show. NB The synchronization is done with a blank file sound.

It's the same for all the curling effect transitions, I agree with you, it's a very small bug. ??? ..........How Igor knows this little problem ???

Bonjour Ken, I have find which is the problem. When you use the curling effect as transition, the music of the slide doesn't work, if you change for another effect, it's good. It's the reason for which, the same PTE file works on 4.2. The sound function is OK, even with curling effect. I did a file test you can download here link broken Best regards

Hi, I want to use music function on the slide, and I don't succeed to use it in the last version of PTE (the sound function is good). The same slideshow with PTE 4.2 is good, it's possible to heard the music, not on the 4.42 Is it possible to have an answer. Many thanks

That's right, but you will stop the problem whith a method I don't like but is the right solution for this problem : use the "Windowed mode".

Hi, Many people make show where the objects (text, button or pictures) have not the right place when other people see there show with another screen's definition. There are several methods to correct this problem. I did a tutorial about how to do in order objects don't move that you'll find here. This tutorial (French and english) in only for version 4.40 and less. There will probably have no problem about objects in the next version (4.50).

The little bug about the size seen on PTE's main screen has been corrected in the last version 4.40 beta #3. The second point, the size of the file could be smaller in the future. Igor will perhaps work on this (compress the datas in the exe file). I can hope that the size of this game will become less than 1 Mo after Igor has work on it.
