  1. I'm trying to create a DVD-video from my slideshow using Video Builder. in Project Options, I have a box ticked to 'Add Chapters' based on xx minute intervals. I assume it is supposed to break the video down, so that one could use 'skip forward' button on a DVD player remote. However, when I play the disc, it has only one chapter, so no skipping through. I've been using PTE for a few years now, and it used to work just fine before. I had to re-install the program recently, and it's the first slideshow I'm doing since then - not sure how that could be related though.
  2. In the past I have shared some of my shows, produced on earlier versions of Picture to Exe, by creating DVDs, but for the last couple of years have created mp4s. I have just tried to publish a show on a DVD and while the video is fine, I have no audio. I can publish as an mp4 and audio is fine. I am running PTE Deluxe 8.0.22 on latest Window 10 update Can anyone help ?
  3. HI, I tried to create a DVD with 10 sequences from 10 pte projects. just at the end I got an error code 3... have a look to the attached screenshot previously I made some tests with a limited number of sequences, without any issue ... Any idea ? Thank you Dominique pte-error 3.docx
  4. I successfully made a DVD disc at the beginning of May via PTE 8.0 on a Windows 7 PC. Now the DVD will not make another disc or play back any DVDs. It will still copy jpgs to a CD. Since May I have clicked on the Windows 10 icon and booked the upgrade later this month. Windows 10 will not have a program to run computer installed DVD/CDs which Windows 7 does. Is it possible that already there has been a Windows Update disconnecting the operation of the player? The message I get from attempting to make a DVD is to "Insert a Disc" - which I do only for it to eject and repeat the request. The Disc inserted is the same type as the successful one.
  5. Hi, I have started a new thread as my questions are a little different to what I have read on the subject. I have created a DVD to play in DVD players and have two problems: 1. The DVD does not play on either of my DVD players. The one is a Marantz and the other a cheaper Samsung player that can play most formats. I previously created a DVD in version 7.5 that played in both players. The quality was however very poor. 2. I can only open the DVD that I have now created in version 8.0.4 Deluxe on the PC, but the quality is terrible, and it does not fill the entire (wide) screen. My shows have the following: Aspect ratio: 16 : 10. I chose this and not 16 : 9 so that the image fills the entire PC monitor and the TV screen when attached to a laptop. Image size: resolution 100 pixels/inch, height 1200 pixels. width 1920 pixels. Some images are larger to cater for pans, zooms, etc. Project Options: Screen - Mode: Full screen, Virtual size of slide: 1280 : 800, Fixed size of pixels box is not ticked. When publishing a show for DVD I have chosen Pal which is my TV, a menu aspect ration of 16 : 9, auto TV aspect ratio, 7000 bit rate, auto video type, anti flicker ticked, MPEG audio format, 256 bit rate, add chapters ticked at 1 min. Any suggestions to solve the two problems will be appreciated. Ernest
